SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers coal-tar-saturated organic felt that may be used with coal-tar pitches conforming to the appropriate requirements of Specification D 450 in the construction of built-up roofs and in the membrane system of waterproofing.  
1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
