Respiratory protective devices - Continuous flow compressed air line breathing devices - Requirements, testing and marking
This document specifies minimum requirements for continuous flow compressed air line breathing devices for use with a full face mask, half mask, hood, helmet or suit, and devices used in abrasive blasting operations, as a Respiratory Protective Device (RPD).
Escape RPD and diving apparatus are not covered by this document.
Laboratory and practical performance tests are included for the assessment of conformance to the requirements.

Dieses Dokument legt Mindestanforderungen für Druckluft-Schlauchgeräte mit kontinuierlichem Luftstrom zum Gebrauch mit einer Vollmaske, Halbmaske, einer Haube, einem Helm oder einem Anzug und für Geräte zum Gebrauch bei Strahlarbeiten als Atemschutzgerät (ASG) fest.
Fluchtgeräte und Tauchgeräte sind von diesem Dokument nicht abgedeckt.
Laborprüfungen und praktische Leistungsprüfungen sind enthalten, um die Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen feststellen zu können.

Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques minimales exigées des appareils de protection respiratoire (APR) isolants à adduction d’air comprimé à débit continu utilisés avec des masques complets, des demi-masques, des cagoules, des casques ou des combinaisons, ainsi que des appareils utilisés dans les opérations de projection d’abrasifs en tant qu’appareils de protection respiratoire.
Les APR destinés à l’évacuation et à la plongée ne sont pas couverts par le présent document.
Le présent document comporte des essais en laboratoire et des essais pratiques de performance pour évaluer la conformité aux exigences.
