Hardware for furniture - Test and evaluation methods for the corrosion resistance of furniture fittings

This document specifies test methods for the determination of corrosion resistance of furniture fittings as ready-to-use assemblies or their individual parts.
It applies to the optical assessment of surface changes for the following materials:
-   metals and their alloys;
-   metal coatings with anodic or cathodic properties;
-   conversion coatings;
-   anodic oxide layers;
-   organic coatings on metallic materials.
This document does not include any requirements regarding the corrosion resistance of furniture fittings. These can be given in the product specifications.

Möbelbeschläge - Prüf- und Bewertungsverfahren für die Korrosionsbeständigkeit von Möbelbeschlägen

Dieses Dokument legt Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Korrosionsbeständigkeit von Möbelbeschlägen als gebrauchsfertige Baugruppen oder ihrer Einzelteile fest.
Es gilt für die optische Bewertung von Oberflächenveränderungen für folgende Werkstoffe:
-   Metalle und ihre Legierungen;
-   Metallüberzüge mit anodischen oder kathodischen Eigenschaften;
-   Umwandlungsschichten;
-   anodische Oxidschichten;
-   organische Überzüge auf metallischen Werkstoffen.
Dieses Dokument umfasst keine Anforderungen an die Korrosionsbeständigkeit von Möbelbeschlägen. Diese können in den Produktspezifikationen angegeben werden.

Le présent document spécifie les méthodes d'essai pour la détermination de la résistance à la corrosion des ferrures de meubles sous forme d'assemblages prêts à l'emploi ou de leurs différentes pièces.
Il s'applique à l'évaluation visuelle des changements de surface pour les matériaux suivants :
-   les métaux et leurs alliages ;
-   les revêtements métalliques aux propriétés anodiques ou cathodiques ;
-   les couches de conversion ;
-   les couches d'oxyde anodique ;
-   les revêtements organiques sur matériaux métalliques.
Le présent document n'inclut aucune exigence concernant la résistance à la corrosion des ferrures de meubles. Des exigences peuvent être données dans les spécifications de produit.

Pohištveno okovje - Preskusne metode in vrednotenje odpornosti okovja proti koroziji

Ta evropski standard določa preskusne metode za ugotavljanje odpornosti okovja proti koroziji kot sestavov, pripravljenih na uporabo, oziroma njihovih posameznih delov.
Uporablja se za optično ocenjevanje površinskih sprememb za naslednje materiale:
•   kovine in njihove zlitine;
•   kovinske prevleke z anodnimi ali katodnimi lastnostmi;
•   konverzijske prevleke;
•   anodno oksidne plasti;
•   organske prevleke na kovinskih materialih.
Ta dokument ne vključuje nobenih zahtev. Te naj bodo vključene v specifikacijah izdelkov.
