This European Standard specifies a procedure for the comparative evaluation of resistance to soiling of an organic coating on a metallic substrate (coil coating) in an outdoor exposure environment, particularly the soiling defect known as "Tiger stripes".

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zum vergleichenden Bewerten der Beständigkeit einer organischen Beschichtung auf einem metallischen Substrat (Bandbeschichtung) gegen Schmutzaufnahme in einer Umgebung im Außenbereich fest, insbesondere der Verschmutzung, die als „Tigerstreifen“ bekannt ist.

résistance à la pollution d’un revêtement organique appliqué sur un support métallique (prélaquage) dans un
environnement d’exposition à l’extérieur, en particulier la résistance au défaut appelé « zébrures ».

Ta del EN 13523 določa postopek za primerjalno vrednotenje odpornosti proti onesnaženju organske prevleke na kovinskem substratu (prevleke v svitkih) pri izpostavljenosti zunanjemu okolju, predvsem onesnaženju, znanemu kot »tigrove proge«.
