Welding - Fusion-welded joints in steel, nickel, titanium and their alloys (beam welding excluded) - Quality levels for imperfections (ISO 5817:2023)

This document specifies quality levels of imperfections in fusion-welded joints (except for beam welding) in all types of steel, nickel, titanium and their alloys. It applies to material thickness ≥ 0,5 mm. It covers fully penetrated butt welds and all fillet welds. Its principles can also be applied to partial-penetration butt welds.
Quality levels for beam-welded joints in steel are presented in ISO 13919-1.
Three quality levels are given in order to permit application to a wide range of welded fabrication. They are designated by symbols B, C and D. Quality level B corresponds to the highest requirement on the finished weld.
Several types of loads are considered, e.g. static load, thermal load, corrosion load, pressure load. Additional guidance on fatigue loads is given in Annex B.
The quality levels refer to production and good workmanship.
This document is applicable to:
a)       non-alloy and alloy steels;
b)       nickel and nickel alloys;
c)        titanium and titanium alloys;
d)       manual, mechanized and automatic welding;
e)       all welding positions;
f)         all types of welds, e.g. butt welds, fillet welds and branch connections;
g)       the following welding processes and their sub-processes, as defined in ISO 4063:
—     11 metal arc welding without gas protection;
—     12 submerged arc welding;
—     13 gas-shielded metal arc welding;
—     14 gas-shielded arc welding with non-consumable tungsten electrode;
—     15 plasma arc welding;
—     31 oxyfuel gas welding (for steel only).
Metallurgical aspects, such as grain size and hardness, are not covered by this document.

Dieses Dokument legt Bewertungsgruppen von Unregelmäßigkeiten an Schmelzschweißverbindungen (aus¬genommen Strahlschweißen) für alle Sorten von Stahl, Nickel, Titan und deren Legierungen fest. Es ist anwendbar für Werkstückdicken ≥ 0,5 mm. Es behandelt voll durchgeschweißte Stumpfnähte und alle Arten von Kehlnähten. Die Grundsätze dieses Dokuments können auch für teilweise durchgeschweißte Stumpfnähte angewendet werden.
Bewertungsgruppen für strahlgeschweißte Verbindungen an Stahl enthält die ISO 13919 1.
Die drei Bewertungsgruppen sind so festgelegt, dass sie eine breite Anwendung in der schweißtechnischen Fertigung erlauben. Sie werden bezeichnet durch die Kennbuchstaben B, C und D. Die Bewertungsgruppe B entspricht den höchsten Anforderungen an die Schweißnaht.
Es werden einige Arten von Belastungen berücksichtigt, z. B. statische Belastung, Wärmebelastung, Kor-rosionsbelastung, Druckbelastung. Zusätzliche Leitlinien für Ermüdungsbeanspruchungen sind in Anhang B angegeben.
Die Bewertungsgruppen beziehen sich auf die Produktion und auf eine gute Fertigungsqualität.
Dieses Dokument ist anwendbar für:
a)   unlegierte und legierte Stähle;
b)   Nickel und Nickellegierungen;
c)   Titan und Titanlegierungen;
d)   manuelles, mechanisiertes und automatisches Schweißen;
e)   alle Schweißpositionen;
f)   alle Schweißverbindungen, z. B. Stumpfnähte, Kehlnähte und Rohrabzweigungen;
g)   die folgenden Schweißprozesse und ihre zugeordneten Einzelprozesse nach ISO 4063:
—   11 Metall-Lichtbogenschweißen ohne Gasschutz;
—   12 Unterpulverschweißen;
—   13 Metall-Schutzgasschweißen;
—   14 Wolfram-Schutzgasschweißen;
—   15 Plasmaschweißen;
—   31 Gasschweißen mit Sauerstoff-Brenngas-Flamme (nur für Stahl).
Metallurgische Gesichtspunkte wie Korngröße und Härte werden von diesem Dokument nicht erfasst.

Le présent document spécifie les niveaux de qualité par rapport aux défauts dans les assemblages soudés par fusion (à l’exclusion du soudage par faisceau) sur tous types d’acier, de nickel, de titane et leurs alliages. Il s’applique à des épaisseurs de matériau ≥ 0,5 mm. Il couvre les soudures bout à bout à pleine pénétration et toutes les soudures d’angle. Ses principes peuvent également s’appliquer aux soudures bout à bout à pénétration partielle.
Les niveaux de qualité pour les assemblages en acier soudés par faisceau sont présentés dans l’ISO 13919-1.
Trois niveaux de qualité sont donnés dans le but de permettre son application à une large gamme de fabrications soudées. Ils sont désignés par les symboles B, C et D. Le niveau de qualité B correspond à l’exigence la plus élevée pour la soudure terminée.
Plusieurs types de charge sont pris en compte, par exemple la charge statique, la charge thermique, la corrosion, la pression. Des lignes directrices supplémentaires sur les charges de fatigue sont données à l'Annexe B.
Les niveaux de qualité concernent la fabrication et la qualité du travail.
Le présent document est applicable:

g)       aux procédés de soudage suivants et à leurs sous-catégories, comme définies dans l’ISO 4063:
—     11 soudage à l’arc avec électrode fusible sans protection gazeuse;
—     12 soudage à l’arc sous flux (en poudre);
—     13 soudage à l’arc avec électrode fusible sous protection gazeuse;
—     14 soudage à l’arc avec électrode réfractaire sous protection gazeuse;
—     15 soudage plasma;
—     31 soudage oxygaz (pour acier uniquement).
Le présent document ne traite pas des aspects métallurgiques, tels que la grosseur de grain ou la dureté.

Varjenje - Talilno zvarjeni spoji na jeklu, niklju, titanu in njihovih zlitinah (izključeno varjenje s snopom) - Stopnje sprejemljivosti nepravilnosti (ISO 5817:2023)

Ta dokument določa stopnje sprejemljivosti nepopolnosti pri talilno zvarjenih spojih (razen pri varjenju s snopom) za vse vrste jekla, niklja, titana in njihovih zlitin. Uporablja se za debelino materiala ≥ 0,5 mm. Pokriva vse soležne zvare in kotne zvare s popolno prevaritvijo. Načela tega dokumenta je mogoče uporabiti tudi za soležne zvare z delno prevaritvijo.
Ravni kakovosti za spoje, zvarjene s snopom, so predstavljene v standardu ISO 13919-1.
Za uporabo pri širokem naboru varjenih izdelkov so določene tri stopnje sprejemljivosti. Označene so s simboli B, C in D. Stopnja sprejemljivosti B ustreza najvišjim zahtevam za končne zvare.
Uporablja se več vrst obremenitve npr. statična obremenitev, toplotna obremenitev, korozijska obremenitev, tlačna obremenitev. Dodatne smernice glede obremenitev za utrujanje so podane v Dodatku B.
Ravni kakovosti se nanašajo na proizvodnjo in dobro izdelavo.
Ta dokument se uporablja za:
a)       nelegirana in legirana jekla;
b)       nikelj in njegove zlitine;
c)        titan in njegove zlitine;
d)       ročno, mehanizirano in avtomatsko varjenje;
e)       vse položaje pri varjenju;
f)         vse vrste zvarov, npr. soležni zvari, kotni zvari in Y-zvari;
g)       naslednje postopke varjenja in njihove pod-postopke, kot to določa standard ISO 4063:
– 11 obločno varjenje brez zaščitnih plinov;
– 12 obločno varjenje pod praškom;
– 13 obločno varjenje v zaščitnih plinih;
– 14 varjenje v zaščitnih plinih z nepotrošnimi elektrodami;
– 15 obločno varjenje s plazmo;
– 31 plamensko varjenje s kisikom (samo za jeklo).
Ta dokument ne zajema metalurških vidikov, npr. velikosti zrn in trdnosti.
