Fire resistance tests for service installations - Part 10: Smoke control dampers
This European Standard specifies test methods for smoke control dampers to assess their performance under elevated temperature or fire conditions.
It needs to be noted that the smoke control damper to be tested should require testing to EN 1366-2 and that this needs to be considered before carrying out these tests.
Smoke control damper tests are required to confirm that the furnace testing requirements of
prEN 12101-8 are met and this European Standard needs to be considered before carrying out these tests.
Smoke control dampers tested to this European Standard may be classified using EN 13501-4 and this European Standard needs to be considered before carrying out these tests.
To this end this European Standard needs to be read in conjunction with prEN 12101-8, EN 13501-4, EN 1366-2 and EN 1363-1, the latter giving further details for fire resistance testing.
For installation details the requirements for smoke extraction ducts need to be considered and these are defined in EN 1366-8 and EN 1366-9.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Prüfverfahren für Entrauchungsklappen zur Beurteilung ihrer Leistung bei erhöhten Temperaturen oder unter Brandbedingungen fest.
Es sollte beachtet werden, dass gefordert werden darf, dass die zu prüfende Entrauchungsklappe nach EN 1366 2 geprüft wird. Dies ist vor der Durchführung dieser Prüfungen zu berücksichtigen.
Prüfungen an Entrauchungsklappen sind erforderlich, um zu beurteilen, ob die Brandschutz¬anforderungen nach EN 12101 8 erfüllt werden. EN 12101 8 ist vor der Durchführung dieser Prüfungen zu berücksichtigen
Entrauchungsklappen, die nach dieser Europäischen Norm erfolgreich geprüft wurden, sollten nach EN 13501-4 klassifiziert werden. Dies ist vor der Durchführung dieser Prüfungen zu berücksichtigen.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt zusammen mit EN 12101 8, EN 13501 4, EN 1366 2 und EN 1363 1, wobei EN 1363 1 weitere Einzelheiten zur Prüfung des Feuerwiderstands angibt.
Einbaudetails für Entrauchungsleitungen sind in EN 1366 8 und EN 1366 9 festgelegt, die für diese Europäische Norm zu berücksichtigen sind.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie des méthodes d'essai pour évaluer la performance des volets de
désenfumage dans des conditions de température élevée ou d'incendie.
Il est à noter que le volet de désenfumage peut nécessiter des essais conformément à l'EN 1366-2 ; il est
nécessaire d'en tenir compte avant de réaliser les présents essais.
Les essais relatifs aux volets de désenfumage sont requis pour confirmer que les exigences d'essai de
résistance au feu du prEN 12101-8 sont satisfaites ; il est nécessaire d'en tenir compte avant de réaliser les
présents essais.
Il est possible que les volets de désenfumage soumis aux essais conformément à la présente Norme
européenne soient classés conformément à l'EN 13501-4 ; dans ce cas, la présente Norme européenne doit
être tenue en compte avant de réaliser ces essais.
A cet effet, la présente Norme européenne doit être lue conjointement avec le prEN 12101-8, l'EN 13501-4,
l'EN 1366-2 et l'EN 1363-1, cette dernière donnant des détails supplémentaires sur les essais de résistance
au feu.
Pour les détails concernant l'installation, les exigences applicables aux volets de désenfumage doivent être
prises en compte ; elles sont définies dans l'EN 1366-8 et l'EN 1366-9.
Preskušanje požarne odpornosti inštalacij - 10. del: Dimoodvodne lopute
Ta evropski standard določa preskusne metode za dimovodne lopute za ocenitev njihovih zmogljivosti pri povišanih temperaturah ali v požaru. Treba je opozoriti, da dimovodne lopute, ki bodo preskušene, lahko potrebujejo preskušanje z EN 1366-2, kar je treba upoštevati pred izvedbo teh preskusov. Preskusi dimovodnih loput so potrebni za potrditev, da so zahteve preskušanja v peči v EN 12101-8 izpolnjene, pred izvedbo teh preskusov pa je treba upoštevati EN 12101-8.
