Rubber- or plastics-coated fabrics - Determination of abrasion resistance - Part 2: Martindale abrader (ISO 5470-2:2003)

ISO 5470-2:2003 details two separate methods for determining the resistance of a material to wet and dry abrasion. It is applicable to the coated surface or surfaces of coated fabrics.

Dieser Teil von ISO 5470 legt zwei getrennte Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Abriebwiderstandes eines Materials gegen nassen und trockenen Abrieb fest. Dieser Teil ist auf die beschichtete Oberfläche oder Oberflächen von beschichteten Flächengebilden anwendbar. Wenn das Abriebverhalten der unbeschichteten Oberfläche eines beschichteten textilen Flächengebildes zu bestimmen ist, sind die in den verschiedenen Teilen von ISO 12947 beschriebenen Verfahren für unbeschichtete Textilien anzuwenden.

This document (EN ISO 5470-2:2003) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 146
"Rubber and rubber products" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 "Textiles
and textile products", the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2003, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by October 2003.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Czech
