This part of EN 13126 specifies the requirements and test procedures for durability, strength, security and functionality of handles.
This European Standard is applicable to Tilt&Turn, Tilt-First and Turn-Only hardware for use on windows and door-height windows.
Handles may also be used on other opening types, e.g. on In-line Sliding, Tilt&Slide, Fold&Slide, horizontal and vertical-pivoting windows.
This European Standard is not applicable to the following hardware:
a)   operation devices and door handles for door latches and door locks (refer to EN 1906);
b)   handles with handle length > 170 mm (refer to Figure B.1);
c)   electromechanical hardware.

Dieser Teil von EN 13126 legt die Anforderungen an und Prüfabläufe für die Dauerfunktions¬tüchtigkeit, Festigkeit, Schutzwirkung und Funktionsweise von Betätigungsgriffen fest.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Drehkipp-, Kippdreh- und Drehbeschläge für die Anwendung bei Fenstern und Fenstertüren.
Betätigungsgriffe dürfen auch bei anderen Öffnungsarten, z. B. bei Inline-Schiebefenstern, Kippschiebefenstern, Faltschiebefenstern, Schwingflügelfenstern und Wendeflügelfenstern angewendet werden.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für folgende Beschläge:
a)   Betätigungsvorrichtungen und Türdrücker für Türfallen oder –schlösser (siehe EN 1906);
b)   Betätigungsgriffe mit einer Grifflänge  170 mm (siehe Bild B.1);
c)   elektromechanische Beschläge.

La présente partie de l'EN 13126 spécifie les exigences et les méthodes d'essai relatives à l'endurance, à la
résistance, à la sécurité et à la fonctionnalité des poignées.
La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux ferrures d'oscillo-battant, de battant-oscillant et d’ouvrant
pivotant destinées à être utilisées sur les fenêtres et les portes-fenêtres.
Les poignées peuvent également être utilisées sur d'autres types d'ouverture, par exemple sur des fenêtres
coulissantes, oscillo-coulissantes, coulissantes accordéon, basculantes et pivotantes.
La présente Norme européenne ne s'applique pas aux ferrures suivantes :
a) les organes de manoeuvre et les poignées de porte pour serrures de portes à pêne dormant ou à pêne
demi-tour ;  se reporter à l'EN 1906 ;
b) les poignées d'une longueur > 170 mm (se reporter à la Figure B.1) ;
c) les dispositifs électromécaniques.

Ta del EN 13126 določa zahteve in preskusne procedure za trajnost, trdnost, varnost in funkcionalnost ročajev. Ta evropski standard velja za vrtljivo-nagibna, nagibno-vrtljiva in vrtljiva okovja za uporabo pri oknih in zastekljenih vratih. Ročaji so prav tako lahko uporabljeni za druge tipe odpiranja, npr. drsna, nagibno-drsna, zložljivo-drsna, horizontalno in vertikalno vrtljiva okna. Ta evropski standard ne velja za naslednje okovje: a) delovne naprave in vratne ročaje za vratne ključavnice (glej EN 1906); b) ročaje z dolžino ročaja > 170 mm (glej sliko B.1); c) elektromehansko okovje.
