Domestic furniture - Seating - Test methods for the determination of durability of upholstery

This European Prestandard specifies a test method for the determination of durability of upholstery complete and on the seating.
Test methods are specified for seat durability and for the determination of hardness and height loss.
It does not apply to the strength and durability of the structure of the seating, which is covered by EN 1728.
The effect of temperature and moisture are not included.
Annex A (informative) includes a test method for testing the interaction between the cover and the underlying upholstery as well as the interaction between the seat and back upholstery.

Möbel für den Wohnbereich - Polstermöbel - Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Dauerhaltbarkeit der Sitzpolsterung am Möbel

Diese Europäische Vornorm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Dauerhaltbarkeit der Sitzpolsterungen am Möbel fest.
Das Prüfverfahren gilt für die Dauerhaltbarkeit der Sitzfläche und für die Bestimmung der Härte und des Höhen-verlustes und nicht für die Prüfung der Festigkeit und Dauerhaltbarkeit der Konstruktion des Sitzmöbels, die in EN 1728 enthalten ist.
Die Einflüsse von Temperatur und Feuchtigkeit sind nicht aufgenommen.
Anhang A (informative) enthält ein Prüfverfahren zur Prüfung der gegenseitigen Beeinflussung von Bezug und Polsterung sowie der gegenseitigen Beeinflussung von Sitz- und Rückenlehnenpolsterung.

Cette Prénorme européenne prescrit une méthode d'essai pour la détermination de la durabilité du rembourrage complet sur l'assise.
Les méthodes d'essais sont prévues pour la durabilité de l'assise et pour la détermination de la dureté et de la perte de hauteur.
Elle ne s'applique pas à la résistance et à la durabilité de la structure des sièges, qui sont couverts par l'EN 1728.
L'incidence de la température et de l'humidité n'est pas prise en compte.
L'Annexe A (informative) inclut une méthode d'essai permettant de vérifier l'interaction entre le revêtement et le rembourrage proprement dit ainsi que l'interaction entre l'assise et le dossier rembourrés.
