Leisure accommodation vehicles - Caravans - Part 1: Habitation requirements relating to health and safety
This European Standard specifies requirements intended to ensure the safety and health of people when they use caravans for temporary or seasonal habitation.
It also specifies the corresponding test methods.
EN 1645-2 gives requirements relating to user payloads for caravans.
Requirements applicable to road safety are not included in the scope of this European Standard.
This European Standard is applicable exclusively to rigid and rigid folding caravans as defined in EN 13878.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen für die Sicherheit und Gesundheit von Personen fest, wenn diese Caravans zeitweilig oder saisonbedingt bewohnen.
Sie legt auch die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren fest.
EN 1645 2 enthält die Anforderungen an die Zuladung von Caravans.
Anforderungen an die Sicherheit im Straßenverkehr gehören nicht zum Anwendungsbereich dieser Europäischen Norm.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt ausschließlich für starre Caravans und Klappcaravans wie in EN 13878 definiert.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences destinées à assurer la sécurité et la santé des personnes lorsque celles-ci utilisent les caravanes comme logements temporaires ou saisonniers.
Il spécifie également les méthodes d’essai correspondantes.
L’EN 1645-2 donne les exigences relatives aux charges utiles pour les caravanes.
Les exigences applicables à la sécurité routière n’entrent pas dans le domaine d’application de la présente Norme européenne.
La présente Norme européenne s’applique exclusivement aux caravanes rigides et aux caravanes pliantes rigides telles que définies dans l’EN 13878.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve, ki so namenjene za zagotovitev varnosti in zdravja ljudi med uporabo prikolic za začasno ali sezonsko bivanje. Določa tudi ustrezne preskusne metode. Standard EN 1645-2 določa zahteve v zvezi z uporabniško obremenitvijo prikolic. V področje uporabe tega standarda niso vključene zahteve za varnost v cestnem prometu. Ta evropski standard se uporablja samo za toge in toge zložljive prikolice iz standarda EN 13878.

Die CEN-Mitglieder sind gehalten, die CEN/CENELEC-Geschäftsordnung zu erfüllen, in der die Bedingungen festgelegt sind, unter denen dieser Europäischen Norm ohne jede Änderung der Status einer nationalen Norm zu geben ist.
