Child care articles - Reclined cradles - Part 2: Reclined cradles for children up to when they start to stand up

This document specifies safety requirements and the corresponding test methods for fixed or folding reclined cradles intended for children up to when they start to stand up.
This document applies also to car seats complying with UN ECE R44 or UN ECE R129 that can be used as reclined cradles according to manufacturer’s instructions.
This document does not apply to reclined cradles when used as swings.
If a reclined cradle has several functions or can be converted into another function the relevant European standards apply to it.

Dieses Dokument legt Sicherheitsanforderungen und die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren für fest stehende oder zusammenklappbare Kinderliegesitze fest, die für Säuglinge und Kleinkinder bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, an dem sie beginnen, selbst aufzustehen, bestimmt sind.
Dieses Dokument gilt ebenfalls für Autokindersitze nach UN ECE R44 oder UN ECE R129, die nach Herstellerangaben als Kinderliegesitze verwendet werden können.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für Kinderliegesitze, die als Schaukel eingesetzt werden.
Wenn ein Kinderliegesitz über mehrere Funktionen verfügt oder in eine andere Funktion umgebaut werden kann, sind die zutreffenden Europäischen Normen anzuwenden.

Le présent document s’applique également aux sièges-auto conformes à l’UN ECE R44 ou l’UN ECE R129 pouvant être utilisés comme transats conformément aux instructions du fabricant.
Le présent document ne s’applique pas aux transats lorsqu’ils sont utilisés comme balançoires.
Si un transat offre plusieurs fonctions ou peut être converti en une autre fonction, les Normes européennes pertinentes s’appliquent.
