ISO 4628-7:2016 specifies a method suitable, in particular, for rating the degree of chalking on white or coloured exterior coatings and coating systems on rough surfaces (i.e. those having a roughness greater than segment 4 of the reference comparator G as described in ISO 8503‑1).
The test method specified can also be used for the assessment of the degree of chalking of coatings and coating systems on smooth surfaces, but the method specified in ISO 4628‑6:2011 is preferable for this purpose.
The test method is applicable to coatings and coating systems on mineral substrates, e.g. fibre cement, brick, concrete, and renderings, independent of the structure of the surface. The method can be used quite effectively by experienced operators and is recommended for laboratory use as well as for on-site evaluation.
NOTE 1       When a reference to this test method is included in specifications, the test conditions (i.e. weathering method and substrate) have to be agreed between the interested parties.
NOTE 2       The method described in this part of ISO 4628 is a relative ranking method and is therefore not suitable for use in agreements between parties. See, however, the Note to Table 1.
NOTE 3       Refer to ISO 4628‑1 for the designation system for quantity and size of defects and the intensity of changes in appearance of coatings, as well as general principles of the system.

Dieser Teil von ISO 11592 legt Anforderungen für die Bestimmung der maximalen Vortriebsnennleistung und Manövriergeschwindigkeit für motorgetriebene kleine Wasserfahrzeuge mit einer Rumpflänge (LH) von weniger als 8 m (LH nach ISO 8666) fest.
Dieser Teil von ISO 11592 gilt nicht für:
   Wasserskooter nach ISO 13590; [6]
   Kanus und Kajaks;
   aufblasbare Boote, wie in ISO 6185-1, ISO 6185-2, ISO 6185-3 und ISO 6185-4 definiert, mit der Ausnahme, dass nach ISO 6185-3 für starre aufblasbare Boote (en: rigid inflatable boots), die eine Geschwindigkeit von 30 kn oder mehr erreichen, eine Prüfung nach diesem Teil von ISO 11592 erforderlich ist;
   Rennfahrzeuge: ausschließlich für Wettkampfzwecke konstruierte und gebaute Wasserfahrzeuge.
Dieser Teil von ISO 11592 legt keine Anforderungen an die Festigkeit des Rumpfes bezüglich der maximalen Nennleistung fest und garantiert keine Sicherheit bei Instabilität unter allen Bedingungen von Seegang, Wind, Kielwasser und Wellen.

ISO 4628-7:2016 spécifie, en particulier, une méthode appropriée de cotation du degré de farinage de revêtements extérieurs blancs ou teintés et de systèmes de revêtement de surfaces rugueuses (c'est-à-dire présentant une rugosité supérieure à celle du cadran 4 de l'échantillon de comparaison visotactile G décrit dans l'ISO 8503‑1).
La méthode d'essai spécifiée peut également servir à évaluer le degré de farinage des revêtements et systèmes de revêtement de surfaces lisses, mais la méthode spécifiée dans l'ISO 4628‑6:2011 est préférable à cet effet.
La méthode d'essai s'applique aux revêtements et aux systèmes de revêtement de subjectiles minéraux, par exemple fibres-ciment, brique, béton et enduits, quelle que soit la structure de la surface. Cette méthode peut être parfaitement appliquée par des opérateurs expérimentés et elle est recommandée pour les laboratoires ainsi que pour procéder à une évaluation sur chantier.
NOTE 1       Lorsque les spécifications comportent une référence à la présente méthode d'essai, les conditions d'essai (c'est-à-dire de la méthode de vieillissement et du subjectile) doivent faire l'objet d'un accord entre les parties intéressées.
NOTE 2       La méthode décrite dans la présente partie de l'ISO 4628 est une méthode de cotation relative qu'il convient de ne pas utiliser pour conclure des accords entre les parties intéressées. Voir, toutefois, la note du Tableau 1.
NOTE 3       Se référer à l'ISO 4628‑1 pour le système de désignation de la quantité et de la dimension des défauts, et l'intensité des changements d'aspect intervenant sur les revêtements, ainsi que les principes généraux de ce système.

Ta del standarda ISO 4628 določa metodo, primerno zlasti za ocenjevanje stopnje kredanja na belih ali obarvanih zunanjih premazih in premaznih sistemih na grobih površinah (površinah z grobostjo, večjo od segmenta 4 referenčnega primerjalnika G, kot je opisano v standardu ISO 8503-1).
Določeno preizkusno metodo je mogoče uporabiti tudi za oceno stopnje kredanja premazov in premaznih sistemov na gladkih površinah, vendar je za ta namen prednostna metoda, določena v standardu ISO 4628-6:2011.
Preskusna metoda velja za premaze in premazne sisteme na mineralnih podlagah, npr. vlaknasti cement, opeka, beton in omet, ne glede na strukturo površine. Metodo lahko izkušeni strokovnjaki uporabljajo precej učinkovito in je priporočena za laboratorijsko rabo in ocenjevanje na licu mesta.
OPOMBA 1: Kadar je v specifikacijah naveden sklic na to preskusno metodo, se morata zadevni stranki strinjati glede pogojev pri preskušanju (metoda obrabe in podlaga).
OPOMBA 2: Metoda, opisana v tem delu standarda ISO 4628, je metoda relativnega razvrščanja in zato ni
primerna za uporabo pri pogodbah med strankami. Glej opombo k preglednici 1.

Vorwort
Dieses Dokument (prEN ISO 4628-7:2014) wurde vom Technischen Komitee ISO/TC 35 „Paints and
varnishes“ in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Technischen Komitee CEN/TC 139 „Lacke und Anstrichstoffe“
erarbeitet, dessen Sekretariat vom DIN gehalten wird.
Dieses Dokument ist derzeit zur parallelen Umfrage vorgelegt.
Dieses Dokument wird EN ISO 4628-7:2003 ersetzen.
Die wichtigsten technischen Änderungen sind:
 die Vergleichsbilder für die Stufen 1 bis 5 des Kreidungsgrades wurden aus ISO 4628-6 übernommen;
 eine normative Verweisung auf ISO 13076 bezüglich der Beleuchtung für die visuelle Beurteilung wurde
ergänzt.
