Vitrified clay pipes systems for drain and sewers - Part 6: Requirements for components of manholes and inspection chambers
This European Standard applies for components for vitrified clay manholes and inspection chambers for buried drain and sewer systems for the conveyance of wastewater (including domestic wastewater, surface water and rainwater) under gravity and periodic hydraulic surcharge or under continuous low head of pressure.
It specifies different strength classes and heights of sections. It also specifies the requirements for components used for joints, systems of joint dimensions and the materials rubber, polyurethane and polypropylene used for joints.
NOTE 1 The specifiers/purchasers can select the components for vitrified clay manholes and inspection chambers according to their requirements.
This standard does not apply to manhole tops and cover slabs.
NOTE 2 Corresponding provisions for the evaluation of conformity (ITT and FPC) and sampling and those for the test methods are further specified in EN 295-2 and EN 295-3, respectively.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Bauteile für Einsteig- und Inspektionsschächte aus Steinzeug für erdverlegte Abwasserleitungen und -kanäle fest, die für die Ableitung von Abwasser (einschließlich häuslichem Abwasser, Oberflächenwasser und Regenwasser) als Freispiegelleitung und unter zeitweise erhöhtem Druck oder dauerhaft niedrigen Überdrücken betrieben werden.
Sie legt verschiedene Tragfähigkeitsklassen und Höhen von Schachtabschnitten fest. Sie legt ebenfalls die Anforderungen an Bauteile für Verbindungen, Verbindungssysteme und die Werkstoffe Gummi, Polyurethan und Polypropylen, die für Verbindungen verwendet werden, fest.
ANMERKUNG 1 Die Auftraggeber/Käufer können die Bauteile für Einsteig- und Inspektionsschächte aus Steinzeug entsprechend ihren Anforderungen wählen.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Schachtabdeckungen und Abdeckplatten.
ANMERKUNG 2 Festlegungen zur Bewertung der Konformität und Probenahme (ITT und WPK) sowie Prüfverfahren sind in EN 295 2 bzw. in EN 295 3 festgelegt.

La présente Norme européenne s’applique aux composants de regards et de boîtes d’inspection ou de branchement en grès vitrifié destinés aux réseaux d’évacuation et d’assainissement enterrés pour le transport des eaux usées (y compris les eaux usées domestiques, les eaux de surface et les eaux de pluie) par une gravité et surcharge hydraulique périodique ou à une faible hauteur de charge prolongée.
La présente Norme spécifie différentes classes de résistance et différentes hauteurs de sections. Elle spécifie également les exigences applicables aux composants utilisés pour les assemblages, aux dimensions des systèmes d’assemblage et aux matériaux en caoutchouc, polyuréthane et polypropylène utilisés pour les assemblages.
NOTE 1 Les prescripteurs/acheteurs peuvent sélectionner les composants de regards et de boîtes d’inspection ou de branchement en grès vitrifié en fonction de leurs exigences.
La présente Norme ne s'applique pas au couvercle des regards ni aux dalles de recouvrement.
NOTE 2 Des dispositions correspondantes pour l’évaluation de la conformité (essais de type initiaux [ETI] et contrôle de production en usine [CPU]) et l’échantillonnage et les dispositions pour les méthodes d’essai sont spécifiées respectivement dans l’EN 295-2 et l’EN 295-3.
