(1)EN 1993-1-1 navaja osnovna pravila projektiranja za jeklene konstrukcije z debelino materiala 3 mm. Prav tako navaja dodatna pravila za projektiranje jeklenih stavb. Ta dodatna pravila so označena s črko “B”, ki sledi številki odstavka: (  )B.
OPOMBA:Za hladno oblikovane tankostenske elemente z debelino t < 3 mm glej EN 1993-1-3.
