This European Standard specifies specific requirements for coloured or uncoloured anodic oxidation coatings on wrought and cast products in aluminium and aluminium alloys for use in contact with food.
These specific requirements cover the chemical composition of the bath, the sealing and the properties of the obtained anodic oxidation coatings. They do not cover dyestuffs and pigments but do cover the metallic deposits produced by electrolytic colouring.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen für gefärbte oder farblose anodisch erzeugte Oxidschichten auf Knet- und Gusserzeugnissen aus Aluminium und Aluminiumlegierungen für die Verwendung in Kontakt mit Lebensmitteln fest.
Diese Anforderungen umfassen die chemische Zusammensetzung des Bades, das Verdichten und die Eigenschaften der anodisch erzeugten Oxidschicht. Sie beinhalten nicht Tauch- und Pigmentfarb¬stoffe, aber beinhalten metallische Einlagerungen die durch elektrolytische Einfärbung erzeugt werden.

La présente Norme européenne définit les spécifications particulières applicables aux couches anodisées colorées ou incolores déposées sur les produits corroyés ou moulés en aluminium et alliages d'aluminium, destinés à entrer en contact avec les aliments.
Ces spécifications particulières couvrent la composition chimique du bain, le colmatage et les propriétés des couches anodisées obtenues. Elles ne concernent ni les colorants ni les pigments.
