Plastics - Acquisition and presentation of comparable single-point data - Part 2: Long-fibre-reinforced plastics (ISO 10350-2:2011)

ISO 10350 identifies specific test procedures for the acquisition and presentation of comparable data for certain basic properties of plastics. In general, each property is specified by a single experimental value, although in certain cases properties are represented by two values obtained under different test conditions or along different directions in the material. The properties included are those presented conventionally in manufacturers' data sheets. ISO 10350-2:2011 applies to reinforced thermoplastic and thermosetting materials where the reinforcement fibres are either discontinuous with a fibre length prior to processing greater than 7,5 mm or continuous (e.g. fabric, continuous-strand mat or unidirectional). ISO 10350-1 deals specifically with unreinforced and filled plastics, including those using fibres less than 7,5 mm in length.

ISO 10350 legt spezifische Prüfverfahren zur Ermittlung und Darstellung vergleichbarer Kennwerte für
bestimmte grundlegende Eigenschaften von Kunststoffen fest. Im Allgemeinen wird jede Eigenschaft durch
einen einzelnen Messwert festgelegt, in bestimmten Fällen wird eine Eigenschaft jedoch durch zwei Werte
charakterisiert, die unter verschiedenen Prüfbedingungen oder entlang unterschiedlicher Materialrichtungen
ermittelt wurden. Die aufgeführten Eigenschaften werden vom Hersteller üblicherweise in Datenblättern
erfasst. Dieser Teil der ISO 10350 gilt für thermoplastische und duroplastische Werkstoffe, die eine
Verstärkung entweder durch diskontinuierliche Fasern mit einer Länge vor der Verarbeitung von mehr als
7,5 mm oder durch kontinuierliche Fasern haben (z. B. Gewebe, kontinuierliche Matten aus Einzellitzen oder
unidirektionale Kunststoffe). Teil 1 dieser Internationalen Norm behandelt speziell unverstärkte und gefüllte
Kunststoffe sowie Kunststoffe mit Fasern, deren Länge weniger als 7,5 mm beträgt.

L'ISO 10350 identifie des méthodes d'essai spécifiques en vue de l'acquisition et de la présentation de données comparables relatives à certaines propriétés de base des matières plastiques. En général, chaque propriété est spécifiée par une valeur expérimentale unique; toutefois, dans certains cas, certaines propriétés sont représentées par deux valeurs obtenues dans des conditions d'essai différentes ou dans différentes directions du matériau. Les propriétés indiquées sont celles qui sont traditionnellement présentées dans les fiches techniques des fabricants. L'ISO 10350-2:2011 est applicable aux matériaux thermodurcissables ou thermoplastiques renforcés, dont les fibres de renforcement sont soit discontinues et d'une longueur supérieure à 7,5 mm avant la mise en oeuvre, soit continues (tissu, mat de fils de base continus ou unidirectionnels, par exemple). L'ISO 10350‑1 traite spécifiquement des plastiques non renforcés et comportant des charges, y compris ceux qui comportent des fibres de moins de 7,5 mm de longueur.

ISO 10350 identificira specifične preskusne postopke za pridobitev in predstavitev primerljivih podatkov za določene osnovne lastnosti polimernih materialov. Na splošno je vsaka lastnost določena z eno eksperimentalno vrednostjo, v nekaterih primerih pa lastnosti predstavljata dve vrednosti, dobljeni pri različnih preskusnih pogojih ali vzdolž različnih smeri v materialu. Vključene so tiste lastnosti, ki so običajno predstavljene v tehničnih podatkih proizvajalcev. Ta del ISO 10350 velja za ojačane termoreaktivne in plastomerne materiale, pri katerih so ojačitvena vlakna diskontinuirna, z dolžino vlaken pred obdelavo nad 7,5 mm, ali kontinuirna (npr. mat blago s kontinuirnimi niti ali enosmerni). 1. del tega mednarodnega standarda posebej obravnava neojačane in polnjene polimerne materiale, vključno z materiali, ki uporabljajo vlakna, krajša od 7,5 mm.

This document (EN ISO 10350-2:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 61 "Plastics" in
collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 249 “Plastics” the secretariat of which is held by NBN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by September 2011.
