1.1   This Part of EN 10263 is applicable to round rod and round bars and wire with a diameter up to and including 100 mm, of non-alloy and alloy steel, intended for cold heading, cold extrusion, subsequent quenching and tempering and induction hardening or flame hardening.
1.2   prEN 10263-1:2013 is indispensable for this Part of EN 10263.

1.1   Dieser Teil von EN 10263 gilt für runden Walzdraht, runde Stäbe und Draht mit einem Durchmesser bis zu einschließlich 100 mm aus unlegiertem und legiertem Stahl zum Kaltstauchen und Kaltfließpressen und nachfolgendem Vergüten und Brenn- oder Flammenhärten.
1.2   Dieser Teil von EN 10263 wird ergänzt durch prEN 10263-1:2013.

1.1   La présente partie 3 de l'EN 10263 s'applique aux barres rondes, au fil machine de section ronde, et au fil ayant un diamètre inférieur ou égal à 100 mm, en acier allié et non allié, destinés à des opérations de transformation à froid (frappe à froid) et d'extrusion à froid, sans faire subir ensuite de traitement thermique au produit final.
1.2   prEN 10263-1:2013 est indispensable pour l’application de cette partie de l’EN 10263.
