Leather - Determination of water resistance of flexible leather - Part 2: Repeated angular compression (Maeser) (ISO 5403-2:2011)

ISO 5403-2:2011 specifies a method for determining the dynamic water resistance of leather by means of repeated angular compression. It is applicable to all flexible leathers but is particularly suitable for leathers intended for footwear applications. It uses a Maeser-type machine and includes an option for electronic detection.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der dynamischen Wasserbeständigkeit durch das
Winkelbiegeverfahren fest. Es gilt für alle flexiblen Leder, von besonderem Interesse ist es jedoch für
Oberleder von Schuhwerk. In dem Verfahren kommt ein Maeser-Apparat zum Einsatz und eine Möglichkeit
zum elektronischen Nachweis ist eingeschlossen.

L'ISO 5403-2:2011 spécifie une méthode pour déterminer l'imperméabilité dynamique du cuir à l'eau par compression angulaire répétée. Elle s'applique à tous les cuirs souples, mais elle convient particulièrement aux cuirs destinés à l'industrie de la chaussure. Elle utilise un appareil de type Maeser et inclut une option pour la détection électronique.

Ta del standarda ISO 5403 določa metodo za ugotavljanje dinamične odpornosti usnja proti vodi s ponavljajočo se kotno kompresijo. Uporablja se za vse vrste upogljivega usnja, vendar je še posebno primerna za vrste usnja, namenjene za obutev. Metoda vključuje uporabo stroja tipa Maeser in možnost elektronskega zaznavanja.
