Tanks for the transport of dangerous goods - Tank equipment for the transport of liquid chemicals and liquefied gases - Product discharge and air inlet valves

This European Standard specifies the requirements for product discharge and air inlet valves for use on transportable tanks with a minimum working pressure greater than 50 kPa for the transport of dangerous goods by road and rail.
NOTE 1   The term 'valve' includes ball valves as well as butterfly valves and similar closure devices.
It is applicable to metallic equipment for use on tanks with gravity and/or pressure filling and discharge for liquid chemicals and liquefied gases. It includes carbon dioxide while excluding refrigerated liquefied gases.
NOTE 2   The standard is also applicable to liquefied gases including LPG, however, for a dedicated LPG standard see EN 13175 [3].

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Produktabsperr- und Gaswechselventile für die Verwen¬dung an ortsbeweglichen Tanks mit einem Mindest-Betriebsdruck von mehr als 50 kPa für die Beförderung gefährlicher Güter auf der Straße und auf der Schiene fest.
ANMERKUNG 1   Der Begriff „Ventil“ schließt sowohl Kugelhähne als auch Absperrklappen sowie vergleichbare Schließeinrichtungen ein.
Sie gilt für Ausrüstung aus Metall für Tanks für flüssige Chemieprodukte und Flüssiggase, die mittels Schwerkraft und/oder Druck entleert werden. Dies schließt Kohlendioxid ein und tiefkalte Gase aus.
ANMERKUNG 2   Die Norm gilt ebenfalls für verflüssigte Gase, einschließlich Flüssiggas (LPG); für eine einschlägige Flüssiggasnorm wird auf EN 13175 [3] verwiesen.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux vannes de mise en pression et de déchargement du produit sur les citernes transportables, dont la pression minimale de service est supérieure à 50 kPa, pour le transport routier ou ferroviaire des matières dangereuses.
NOTE 1   Le terme « vanne » inclut les robinets à tournant sphérique et les vannes papillon et autres dispositifs d’obturation similaires.
Elle est applicable aux équipements métalliques utilisés sur les citernes à remplissage et à déchargement par gravité et/ou sous pression pour produits chimiques liquides et gaz liquéfiés. Elle inclut le dioxyde de carbone, mais exclut les gaz liquéfiés réfrigérés.
NOTE 2   La norme s’applique également aux gaz liquéfiés, y compris le GPL. Toutefois, pour une norme spécifique au GPL, se reporter à l’EN 13175 [3].

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za vakuumske oddušnike in ventile za vstop zraka za uporabo pri premičnih cisternah z najnižjim delovnim tlakom nad 50 kPa za cestni in železniški prevoz nevarnega blaga.
Uporablja se za opremo za uporabo pri cisternah s težnostnim in/ali tlačnim praznjenjem za tekoče kemikalije ter utekočinjene pline. Vključuje ogljikov dioksid, ne zajema pa kriogenskih plinov.
