Paints and varnishes - Fillers for internal and/or external works - Adaptation of fillers to European standards

This European Standard defines coating materials designed to cover all backgrounds and substrates in traditional materials or compliant with the standards in force, whether new or existing, bare or coated, absorbent or non-absorbent, smooth or rough, in order to prepare them to receive a paint or related system, or a bonded cover, whether specific or not. More generally intended to improve the surface appearance, they can also:
-   not be over-coated;
-   create a textured appearance or not;
-   be treated/coloured or not (pigments, wax, etc.).
Exterior fillers are not intended as top coat.
Interior coating materials with grain size over 1 mm are not covered by this European Standard.
Fillers specifically intended for wooden and metal substrates are not covered by this European Standard.
This European Standard complies with the general system for classification of water-borne coating materials and coating systems for interior walls and ceilings described in EN 13300.
This European Standard complies with the general system for the description of coating materials and coating systems for exterior masonry and concrete described in EN 1062 1.
The essential function of fillers is therefore a decorative function. Therefore, these fillers are considered here as preparatory and/or decorative fillers, of smooth or textured appearance.
NOTE   Nothing prevents preparatory surface filler from being coated with a paint system comprising protective functions.
However, they are not suitable for truing of backgrounds, without specifications regarding the verticality, angularity or flatness under a 2-m straight edge, or thickness. Their application never requires, to ensure they bond correctly, the prior application of a rigid reinforcement such as a lathwork or wire mesh, or a spatter-dash or bagging or scoring of the surface between two coats. They may nevertheless incorporate a flexible reinforcement (strip of natural or synthetic fabric) for example along joints between different or same materials, in order to limit visible cracking.
Under these conditions, this European Standard does not concern products covered by the following standards: EN 998 1, EN 998 2, EN 15824, EN 13279 1, EN 13963, EN 12860, EN 13813, EN ISO 11600.

Beschichtungsstoffe - Spachtelmassen bei Innen- und/oder Außenarbeiten - Anpassung der Spachtelmassen an die europäischen Normen

Diese Europäische Norm legt Beschichtungsstoffe fest, die vorgesehen sind, um alle Untergründe und Substrate aus herkömmlichen Werkstoffen oder konform zu den gültigen Normen, neu oder bestehend, unbeschichtet oder beschichtet, saugfähig oder nicht saugfähig, glatt oder rau, auf das Beschichten mit einem Beschichtungsstoff oder einem ähnlichen System oder einer verbunden Deckschicht, spezifisch oder unspezifisch, vorzubereiten. Im Allgemeinen dafür gedacht die Oberflächenbeschaffenheit zu verbessern, können sie außerdem:
-   unbeschichtet bleiben,
-   dazu verwendet werden, um eine strukturierte oder nicht strukturierte Oberfläche zu erzeugen,
-   behandelt/gefärbt (mit Pigmenten, Wachs, usw.) oder nicht behandelt/gefärbt werden.
Spachtelmassen für den Außenbereich sind nicht als Deckbeschichtungen vorgesehen.
Beschichtungsstoffe für den Innenbereich mit einer Korngröße von über 1,0 mm fallen nicht in den Anwendungsbereich dieser Europäischen Norm.
Spachtelmassen für Holz- oder Metallsubstrate fallen nicht in den Anwendungsbereich dieser Europäischen Norm.
Diese Europäische Norm folgt dem in EN 13300 beschriebenen allgemeinen System zur Einteilung von Beschichtungsstoffen und -systemen auf Wasserbasis für Decken und Wände im Innenbereich.
Diese Europäische Norm folgt dem in EN 1062-1 beschriebenen allgemeinen System zur Einteilung von Beschichtungsstoffen und -systemen für Mauerwerk und Beton im Außenbereich.
Im Wesentlichen kommt den Spachtelmassen nach dieser Europäischen Norm eine dekorative Funktion zu. Deshalb werden sie hier als Grundier- und/oder dekorative Spachtelmassen mit glattem oder strukturiertem Erscheinungsbild betrachtet.
ANMERKUNG   Grundierspachtel können auch mit einem Beschichtungssystem, das eine Schutzfunktion erfüllt, beschichtet werden.
Spachtelmassen sind nicht zum Ausgleichen von Untergründen, ohne Angaben hinsichtlich Vertikalität, Winkligkeit oder Planheit unter einem 2-m-Richtscheit oder ohne dass sie mit ausreichender Schichtdicke aufgetragen werden, geeignet. Ihre Anwendung benötigt zur Sicherung eines korrekten Verbundes zwischen den Schichten keine Verwendung einer steifen Armierung, wie z. B. eines Putzträgers oder Drahtgewebes, oder eines Spritzbewurfes oder einer Schlämme oder dass die Zwischenschicht aufgeraut wird. Es darf jedoch eine flexible Armierung (Streifen aus natürlichem oder synthetischem Gewebe), z. B. entlang von Fugen zwischen unterschiedlichen oder gleichen Materialien verwendet werden, um die Neigung zur Rissbildung zu vermindern.
Diese Europäische Norm behandelt nicht Produkte nach folgenden Normen:
EN 998-1, EN 998-2, EN 15824, EN 13279-1, EN 13963, EN 12860, EN 13813, EN ISO 11600.

Peintures et vernis - Enduits de peinture pour travaux intérieurs et/ou extérieurs - Adaptation des enduits de peinture aux Normes européennes

La présente Norme européenne spécifie des produits de peinture conçus pour recouvrir tous supports et subjectiles constitués de matériaux traditionnels ou conformes aux normes en vigueur, qu'ils soient neufs ou anciens, nus ou revêtus, absorbants ou non, lisses ou rugueux, afin de les préparer à recevoir un système de peinture ou un système connexe, ou encore un revêtement collé, particulier ou non. Destinés plus généralement à améliorer l’aspect de surface, ils peuvent aussi :
-   ne pas être recouverts ;
-   créer un aspect structuré/texturé ou non ;
-   être traités/colorés ou non (pigments, cire, etc.).
Les enduits de peinture extérieurs ne sont pas destinés à être utilisés comme couche de finition.
Les produits de peinture intérieurs de granulométrie supérieure à 1 mm ne relèvent pas du domaine d'application de la présente Norme européenne.
Les enduits de peinture destinés spécifiquement aux subjectiles en bois ou en métal ne sont pas couverts par la présente Norme européenne.
La présente Norme européenne est conforme au système général de classification des produits de peinture et des systèmes de revêtement en phase aqueuse pour murs et plafonds intérieurs décrit dans l'EN 13300.
Elle est conforme également au système général de description des produits de peinture et systèmes de revêtement pour maçonnerie et béton extérieurs décrit dans l'EN 1062-1.
La fonction essentielle des enduits de peinture couverts par la présente Norme européenne est donc une fonction de décoration. Ces enduits sont ainsi considérés dans le présent document comme des enduits préparatoires et/ou décoratifs, d’aspect lisse ou texturé.
NOTE   Rien n'empêche de recouvrir un enduit de préparation de surface avec un système de peinture ayant des fonctions de protection.
Cependant, les enduits de peinture couverts par la présente Norme européenne, en l'absence de spécifications concernant la verticalité, l'angularité ou la planéité sous une règle de 2 m, ou l’épaisseur, ne sont pas adaptés au dressage des supports. Leur application ne nécessite jamais, pour assurer leur adhérence, de pose préalable d’armature rigide de renfort, telle qu'un lattis ou un treillis, ni d'une application de gobetis ou de barbotine, ni d'un striage de la surface entre deux couches. Pour limiter les fissurations apparentes, ils peuvent néanmoins comporter une armature souple (bande de tissu naturel ou synthétique), par exemple le long des joints entre matériaux différents ou similaires.
Dans ces conditions, la présente Norme européenne ne concerne pas les produits couverts par les normes suivantes : EN 998-1, EN 998-2, EN 15824, EN 13279-1, EN 13963, EN 12860, EN 13813 et EN ISO 11600.

Barve in laki - Polnila za notranja in/ali zunanja dela - Prilagoditev polnil evropskim standardom

Standard EN 16566 določa premazne materiale, zasnovane za prekrivanje vseh ozadij in podlag v običajnih materialih ali materialih, skladnih z veljavnimi standardi, novih ali obstoječih, golih ali premazanih, vpojnih ali nevpojnih, gladkih ali grobih, z namenom pripravljanja teh materialov na barvanje ali sorodne sisteme ali povezane premaze, posebne ali običajne. V splošnem so namenjeni izboljšanju videza površine, zato: – niso nujno premazani, – lahko ustvarijo teksturo ali ne, – lahko se obdelajo/barvajo ali ne (pigmenti, vosek ipd.). Zunanja polnila niso namenjena za vrhnje premaze. Ta evropski standard ne zajema notranjih premaznih materialov z velikostjo zrn, večjo od 1 mm. Ta evropski standard ne zajema polnil, namenjenih posebej za lesene in kovinske podlage. Ta evropski standard je skladen s splošnim sistemom za klasifikacijo premaznih materialov na vodni osnovi in premaznih sistemov za notranje stene in strope, opisanim v standardu EN 13300. Ta evropski standard je skladen s splošnim sistemom za opisovanje premaznih materialov in premaznih sistemov za zunanje zidovje in beton, opisanim v standardu EN 1062-1.
