Anmerkung 1: Dieses Verfahren eignet sich für den Vergleich der Dicke von Kontaktlinsen; es liefert nicht unbedingt eine Aussage zur absoluten Dicke von Kontaktlinsen. Anmerkung 2: ISO 9339-1 gilt für harte Kontaktlinsen.
