Rubber- or plastic-coated fabrics - Accelerated ageing tests - Part 3: Environmental ageing

This part of this European Standard describes a test procedure to assess the effect of humidity in combination with relatively high temperatures on the relevant physical properties of coated fabrics.
It is applicable to all coated fabrics for which it is necessary to assess the long-term resistance to hydrolysis which can result from exposure to warm atmospheres with high moisture content. It is not recommended to evaluate materials that are immersed in water during use.

Dieser Teil dieser Europäischen Norm beschreibt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bewertung des Einflusses von Feuchte in Verbindung mit relativ hohen Temperaturen auf die typischen physikalischen Eigenschaften von beschichteten Textilien. Er ist auf alle beschichteten Textilien anwendbar, für die eine Langzeitbeständigkeit gegen Hydrolyse, die aus der Einwirkung von warmen Atmosphären mit hohem Feuchtegehalt herrühen kann, eingeschätzt werden muß. Er wird nicht für die Bewertung von Materialien empfohlen, die während ihres Gebrauchs in Wasser eingetaucht sind.

La présente norme européenne décrit un mode opératoire d'essai permettant d'évaluer les effets de l'humidité associée à des températures relativement élevées sur les propriétés physiques appropriées des supports textiles revêtus.
Elle s'applique à tous les supports textiles revêtus pour lesquels il est nécessaire d'évaluer la résistance à long terme à l'hydrolyse qui peut résulter de l'exposition à des atmosphères chaudes présentant un pourcentage d'humidité élevé. Il n'est pas recommandé d'évaluer les matériaux immergés dans de l'eau pendant leur utilisation.
