Metallic and other inorganic coatings - Review of methods of measurement of thickness (ISO 3882:2003)

ISO 3882:2003 reviews methods for measuring the thickness of metallic and other inorganic coatings on both metallic and non-metallic substrates. It is limited to tests already specified, or to be specified, in International Standards, and excludes certain tests that are used for special applications.

Metallische und andere anorganische Überzüge - Übersicht über Verfahren zur Schichtdickenmessung (ISO 3882:2003)

Diese Internationale Norm enthält eine Übersicht über Verfahren zur Messung der Dicke metallischer und anderer anorganischer Schichten auf metallischen und nichtmetallischen Grundwerkstoffen (siehe Tabellen 1, 2 und 3). Sie beschränkt sich auf in Internationalen Normen bereits erfasste oder noch zu erfassende Verfahren; ausgeschlossen werden Verfahren, die für besondere Anwendungen vorgesehen sind.

Revêtements métalliques et autres revêtements inorganiques - Vue d'ensemble sur les méthodes de mesurage de l'épaisseur (ISO 3882:2003)

L'ISO 3882:2003 donne une vue d'ensemble des méthodes de mesure de l'épaisseur de revêtements métalliques et autres revêtements inorganiques déposés sur des substrats métalliques ou non métalliques. Elle se limite aux essais déjà spécifiés, ou qui devront être spécifiés, dans des Normes internationales, et elle exclut certains essais utilisés à des fins spéciales.

This document (EN ISO 3882:2003) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 107
"Metallic and other inorganic coatings" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 262
"Metallic and other inorganic coatings", the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2003, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by October 2003.
This document supersedes EN ISO 3882:1994.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Czech
Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy,
