Winter and road service area maintenance equipment - Data acquisition and transmission - Part 2: Protocol for data transfer between information supplier and client application server

The function of this Technical Specification is to combine any vehicle equipment with different board computers to any client application server. The communication interface on vehicle is defined by EN 15430-1:2007+A1:2011. The interface between the information supplier server and the client application server is defined as a specific protocol (flow 3), object of the present Technical Specification. This makes interchangeability possible on both sides of the communication without any restriction in the range of communication technology including memory card, WLAN, GPRS or any other communication media.

Diese Technische Spezifikation enthält Festlegungen für die Funktion, jedes Fahrzeug-Anbaugerät mit unterschiedlichen Bordcomputern und mit jedem Client Anwenderserver zu kombinieren. Die Kommunikations-Schnittstelle am Fahrzeug wird in EN 15430-1:2007+A1:2011 definiert. Die Schnittstelle zwischen dem Informationsanbieter-Server und dem Client Anwenderserver wird als spezifisches Protokoll (Fluss 3) in dieser Technischen Spezifikation definiert. Dieses ermöglicht Austauschbarkeit auf beiden Seiten der Kommunikation ohne jede Einschränkung im Bereich der Kommunikationstechnologie einschließlich Memory Card, WLAN, GPRS oder anderer Kommunikationsmittel.

L’objectif de la présente Spécification technique est de permettre d’associer le matériel de véhicules comportant des ordinateurs embarqués différents à n’importe quel serveur d’application client. L’interface de communication sur le véhicule est définie dans l’EN 15430 1:2007+A1:2011. L’interface entre le serveur fournisseur d’information et le serveur d’application client est définie par un protocole spécifique (flux 3) qui constitue l’objet de la présente Spécification technique. Cela rend l’interchangeabilité possible des deux côtés de la communication, sans aucune restriction au niveau des technologies de communication, y compris les cartes mémoires, le réseau WLAN, le réseau GPRS ou tout autre moyen de communication.

Namen te tehnične specifikacije je združevanje katere koli opreme vozila z različnimi potovalnimi računalniki s katerim koli odjemalčevim aplikacijskim strežnikom. Komunikacijski vmesnik na vozilu je določen v standardu EN 15430-1:2007+A1:2011. Vmesnik med strežnikom ponudnika podatkov in odjemalčevim aplikacijskim strežnikom je določen kot posebni protokol (tok 3), ki je predmet te tehnične specifikacije. To omogoča zamenljivost z obeh strani komunikacije brez omejitev glede vrste komunikacijske tehnologije, vključno s pomnilniško kartico, WLAN, GPRS ali katerim koli drugim komunikacijskim medijem.

This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 14 February 2012 for provisional application.

The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their
comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.

CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available
promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in parallel to the CEN/TS)
until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.
