Furniture - Assessment of the surface resistance to abrasion
This document specifies a method for the assessment of the abrasion resistance of surfaces with foils, laminates, melamine faced boards, pigmented and transparent lacquers.
It does not apply to leather and textile surfaces.
It does not apply to the surfaces covered by EN 14434.
The test is intended to be carried out on an unused part of the finished furniture, but can be carried out on test panels of the same material, finished in an identical manner to the finished product, and of a size sufficient to meet the requirements of the test.

Möbel - Bewertung der Abriebfestigkeit von Oberflächen
Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren für die Bewertung der Abriebfestigkeit von Oberflächen mit geklebten Dekor-Finishfolien auf Papierbasis oder geklebten Folien auf Polymerbasis, Laminaten und melaminbeschichteten Platten sowie pigmentierten und transparenten Lacken fest.
Es ist nicht anwendbar für Oberflächen aus Leder und Textilien.
Es ist nicht anwendbar für die Oberflächen nach EN 14434.
Die Prüfung ist dafür vorgesehen, an einem unbenutzten Teil des gebrauchsfertigen Möbels durchgeführt zu werden, kann aber auch an Prüfkörpern durchgeführt werden, die aus dem gleichen Werkstoff mit identischer Oberflächenbehandlung wie das fertige Produkt hergestellt wurden und groß genug sind, um den Prüfanforderungen zu entsprechen.
Die Prüfung ist dafür vorgesehen, auf unbenutzten Oberflächen durchgeführt zu werden.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode d'évaluation de la résistance à l'abrasion de surfaces revêtues de papiers décors collés ou de films polymère collés, ainsi que de stratifiés, de panneaux surfacés mélaminés et de vernis pigmentés ou transparents.
Il ne s'applique ni aux surfaces en cuir, ni aux surfaces textiles.
Il ne s'applique pas aux surfaces traitées dans l'EN 14434.
L'essai est destiné à être réalisé sur une partie neuve des meubles finis, mais il peut être effectué sur des panneaux d'essai du même matériau, de finition identique à celle du meuble fini et de dimensions suffisantes pour satisfaire aux exigences de l'essai.
L'essai doit être réalisé sur des surfaces neuves.

Ta evropski standard določa preskusno metodo za odpornost površin proti obrabi, ki je omenjena v točki 7.4.
Ne uporablja se za usnjene in tekstilne površine.
Ta evropski standard ne velja za površine, ki so obravnavane v standardu EN 14434.
Preskus naj bi se izvedel na delu končanega kosa pohištva, lahko pa se izvede tudi na preskusnih ploščah iz istega materiala, ki so obdelane na identičen način kot končan izdelek, njihova velikost pa mora biti dovolj velika, da ustreza zahtevam preskusa.
Preskus je treba izvesti na še nerabljenih površinah.
