Protective clothing - Electrostatic properties - Part 5: Material performance and design requirements

This European Standard specifies material and design requirements for electrostatic dissipative protective clothing, used as part of a total earthed system, to avoid incendiary discharges. The requirements may not be sufficient in oxygen enriched flammable atmospheres. This European Standard is not applicable for protection against mains voltages.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen fest an Werkstoffe und Ausführung für elektrostatisch ableitfähige
Schutzkleidung, die Bestandteil eines vollständig geerdeten Systems zur Vermeidung von zündfähigen
Entladungen ist. In brennbaren Atmosphären, die mit Sauerstoff angereichert sind, können die Anforderungen
möglicherweise nicht genügen. Diese Norm gilt nicht für den Schutz vor Netzspannungen.

Vêtements de protection - Propriétés électrostatiques - Partie 5: Exigences de performance des matériaux et de conception

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux matériaux et à la conception des vêtements de protection à dissipation électrostatique utilisés en complément d’un système de mise à la terre dans le but d’empêcher les décharges incendiaires. Ces exigences peuvent se révéler insuffisantes dans les atmosphères inflammables enrichies en oxygène. La présente norme n’est pas applicable à la protection contre les tensions du réseau.
