Plastics Quality recommendations and basis for specifications for application of plastic recyclates in products - Part 3 : Polypropylene (PP)
This document provides relevant characteristics and typical values for polypropylene (PP) recyclates intended for groups of defined applications (the product families).
The relevant characteristics and typical values for the different product families are derived from the performance requirements of the products belonging to that family, including requirements for product manufacturing processes where applicable.
This document applies to plastic recyclates intended to be used for the manufacturing of (intermediate) products.
This document is intended to be used in conjunction with part 1 of this standard series, which describes the designation system for plastic recyclates. The designation system allows comparison between recycled and virgin material at the level of the polymer’s defined designatory properties.
NOTE 1 Examples of designations of plastic recyclates are given in Annex A.
NOTE 2 The selection of relevant properties for a product family is based on EN ISO 10350 1, extended with specific properties related to plastic recyclates.

Dieses Dokument enthält relevante Eigenschaften und typische Werte für Rezyklate aus Polypropylen (PP), die für Gruppen von definierten Anwendungen (die Produktfamilien) vorgesehen sind.
Die relevanten Eigenschaften und typischen Werte für die verschiedenen Produktfamilien leiten sich aus den Leistungsanforderungen der zu dieser Familie gehörenden Produkte ab, einschließlich der Anforderungen an die Produktherstellungsprozesse, sofern zutreffend.
Dieses Dokument gilt für Kunststoff-Rezyklate, die für die Herstellung von (Zwischen-)Produkten vorgesehen sind.
Dieses Dokument ist zur Verwendung in Verbindung mit Teil 1 dieser Normenreihe vorgesehen, in dem das Bezeichnungssystem für Kunststoff-Rezyklate beschrieben wird. Das Bezeichnungssystem ermöglicht den Vergleich zwischen recyceltem und neuem Material auf der Ebene der kennzeichnenden Eigenschaften des Polymers.
ANMERKUNG 1 Beispiele für Bezeichnungen von Kunststoff-Rezyklaten sind in Anhang A aufgeführt.
ANMERKUNG 2 Die Auswahl der relevanten Eigenschaften für eine Produktfamilie basiert auf EN ISO 10350 1, erweitert um spezifische Eigenschaften für Kunststoff-Rezyklate.

Le présent document fournit des caractéristiques pertinentes et des valeurs types pour les recyclats de polypropylène (PP) destinés à être utilisés pour des groupes d’applications définies (les familles de produits).
Les caractéristiques pertinentes et les valeurs types pour les différentes familles de produits sont issues des exigences de performance des produits appartenant à cette famille, y compris les exigences pour les processus de fabrication des produits, le cas échéant.
Le présent document s’applique aux recyclats de plastiques destinés à être utilisés pour la fabrication de produits (intermédiaires).
Le présent document est destiné à être utilisé conjointement avec la Partie 1 de cette série de normes, qui décrit le système de désignation des recyclats de plastiques. Le système de désignation permet de comparer les matériaux recyclés et vierges au niveau des propriétés de désignation définies pour le polymère.
NOTE 1 Des exemples de désignations des recyclats de plastiques sont donnés dans l’Annexe A.
NOTE 2 La sélection des propriétés pertinentes pour une famille de produits est basée sur l’EN ISO 10350 1, complétée par des propriétés spécifiques liées aux recyclats de plastiques.
