Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an glatte Platten aus Naturstein fest, die für den Einsatz als Belag für Fußböden und Treppenstufen hergestellt werden. Nicht erfasst werden mineralische Gesteinskörnungen und künstlich hergestelltes Gesteinsmaterial sowie die Verlegung.

Cette norme européenne spécifie les exigences concernant les dalles de pierre naturelle qui servent à réaliser les produits utilisés en revêtements de sols, d'escaliers et rebords de fenêtres dans les constructions. Elle ne s'applique ni aux agrégats ni aux produits reconstitués et ne concerne pas la pose.
