Eaves gutters and fittings made of PVC-U - Definitions, requirements and testing

This document specifies the requirements for eaves gutters made of unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U), fittings and the system intended to be used for rainwater roof drainage.
It applies to:
-   solid wall monolayer gutters;
-   solid wall multilayer gutters;
-   solid wall fittings.
The test parameters for the test methods are specified in the document.
Gutters covered by this document can be used in conjunction with fittings of acrylic materials provided these products meet the applicable requirements of this document.
NOTE 1   Products complying with this document can be used in conjunction with rainwater downpipes conforming to EN 12200-1 [1] and fixed with brackets complying with EN 1462 [2].
This document is applicable to PVC-U gutter systems of any shape with rubber seal or adhesive joints.
NOTE 2   It is the responsibility of the purchaser or specifier to make the appropriate selections from the size range and the design to take into account their particular requirements and any relevant national regulations and installation practices or codes.
NOTE 3   The term "rainwater" in this document is used also to encompass "surface water" (as defined in EN 752 [3]) run-off from buildings.

Hängedachrinnen und Zubehörteile aus PVC U - Begriffe, Anforderungen und Prüfung

In diesem Dokument werden die Anforderungen an Hängedachrinnen aus weichmacherfreiem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC U), die Formstücke und das System festgelegt, die zur Ableitung von Regenwasser vorgesehen sind.
Es ist anwendbar für:
   Einschichtvollwand-Dachrinnen;
   Mehrschichtvollwand-Dachrinnen;
   Vollwandformstücke.
Dieses Dokument ist nicht anwendbar für PVC-Dachrinnen mit einer geschäumten Schicht.
Die Prüfparameter für die Prüfverfahren sind in diesem Dokument festgelegt.
Unter der Voraussetzung, dass diese Produkte die Anforderungen dieses Dokuments erfüllen, können in diesem Dokument behandelte Dachrinnen in Verbindung mit Formstücken aus Acrylwerkstoffen angewendet werden.
ANMERKUNG 1   Produkte, die diesem Dokument entsprechen, sind geeignet, in Verbindung mit Regenwasser-Fallrohren nach EN 12200 1 [1] verwendet und mit Rinnenhaltern nach EN 1462 [2] befestigt zu werden.
Dieses Dokument ist anwendbar für PVC U-Dachrinnensysteme jeder Form mit Gummidichtung oder Klebefugen.
ANMERKUNG 2   Der Anwender bzw. Auftraggeber ist unter Berücksichtigung der eigenen Anforderungen sowie der geltenden nationalen Festlegungen und Installationspraktiken oder  vorschriften für die entsprechende Auswahl aus dem Größenangebot und der Konstruktion verantwortlich.
ANMERKUNG 3   In diesem Dokument wird der Begriff „Regenwasser“ so verwendet, dass er auch von Gebäuden ablaufendes „Oberflächenwasser“ (wie in EN 752 [3] festgelegt) einschließt.

Gouttières pendantes et leurs raccords en PVC-U - Définitions, exigences et méthodes d'essai

Le présent document prescrit les exigences relatives aux gouttières pendantes en poly(chlorure de vinyle) non plastifié (PVC-U), aux raccords et au système destinés à être utilisés pour l'évacuation des eaux pluviales des toits.
Il s’applique aux :
-   gouttières monocouches à paroi pleine ;
-   gouttières multicouches à paroi pleine ;
-   raccords à paroi pleine.
Les paramètres d’essai des méthodes d’essai sont spécifiés dans le présent document.
Les gouttières couvertes par le présent document peuvent être utilisées conjointement avec des raccords en matériaux acryliques, à condition que ces produits répondent aux exigences applicables du présent document.
NOTE 1   Les produits conformes au présent document peuvent être utilisés avec des tuyaux de descente d'eau pluviale conformes à l’EN 12200-1 [1] et fixés avec des crochets conformes à l’EN 1462 [2].
Le présent document s’applique aux systèmes de gouttières PVC-U de toute forme avec des joints en caoutchouc ou adhésifs.
NOTE 2   Il incombe à l'acheteur ou au prescripteur de faire les choix appropriés dans la gamme de tailles et dans la conception, en tenant compte de ses besoins particuliers et de toutes les réglementations nationales et pratiques ou codes d'installation pertinents.
NOTE 3   Le terme « eau de pluie » dans le présent document est également utilisé pour englober les « eaux de surface » (comme défini dans l’EN 752 [3]) qui ruissellent des bâtiments.

Žlebovi in fazonski kosi iz PVC-U - Definicije, zahteve in preskušanje

Ta dokument določa zahteve za žlebove, izdelane iz nemehčanega poli(vinil klorida) (PVC-U), fazonske kose in sistem, namenjen za strešno odvodnjavanje deževnice.
Uporablja se za:
–   trde stenske enoplastne žlebove;
–   trde stenske večplastne žlebove;
–   trde stenske fazonske kose.
V dokumentu so določeni tudi preskusni parametri za preskusne metode.
Žlebove, obravnavane v tem dokumentu, je mogoče uporabiti skupaj s fazonskimi kosi iz akrilnih materialov pod pogojem, da ti izdelki izpolnjujejo zahteve iz tega dokumenta.
OPOMBA 1:   Izdelke, ki so skladni s tem dokumentom, je mogoče uporabiti skupaj z odtočnimi cevmi za deževnico, ki so skladne s standardom EN 12200-1 [1], in pritrjene z nosilci, ki so skladni s standardom EN 1462 [2].
Ta dokument se uporablja za sisteme žlebov iz PVC-U katere koli oblike z gumijastim tesnilom ali lepljenimi spoji.

This document (EN 607:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 128 “Roof covering
products for discontinuous laying and products for wall cladding”, SC10 “Gutters”, the secretariat of
which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2023, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by November 2023.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 607:2004.
The main changes include:
— Clarification of the products covered;

1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements for eaves gutters made of unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride)
(PVC-U), fittings and the system intended to be used for rainwater roof drainage.
It applies to:
— solid wall monolayer gutters;
— solid wall multilayer gutters;
— solid wall fittings.
This document is not applicable to PVC gutters with a foamed layer.
The test parameters for the test methods are specified in the document.
Gutters covered by this document can be used in conjunction with fittings of acrylic materials provided
these products meet the applicable requirements of this document.
