Food processing machinery - Circular saw machines - Safety and hygiene requirements

This European Standard specifies requirements for the design and manufacturing of circular saw machines (see Figures 1 and 2).
The machines covered by this European Standard are used to cut bone and meat.
The circular saw machines covered by this European Standard do not include circular saw machines for processing of wood and similar materials and the requirements of EN 1870-1 do not apply.
Circular saw machines for domestic use are not included in this European Standard.
This European Standard applies only to machines which are manufactured after the date of issue of this European Standard.
This European Standard covers the following types of machines:
Circular saw machines with a feed table and a fixed product pusher
-   The distance "A" from the floor to the top surface of the feed table is from 800 mm to 1050 mm. The saw blade diameter is between 350 mm and 400 mm (see Figure 1).
-   Circular saw machines installed in a cutting line (e.g. conveyor belt or roller conveyor), e.g. with a protective component which can be lifted on the feed and discharge side. The saw blade diameter is between 350 mm and 400 mm (see Figure 2).

Diese Europäische Norm spezifiziert Anforderungen an die Konstruktion und Herstellung von Kreissägemaschinen
(siehe Bilder 1 und 2).
Die von dieser Europäischen Norm behandelten Maschinen werden zum Schneiden von Knochen und Fleisch
verwendet.
Die in dieser Europäischen Norm behandelten Kreissägemaschinen sind keine Kreissägemaschinen zum
Bearbeiten von Holz und ähnlichen Materialien und die in EN 1870-1:1999 beschriebenen Anforderungen
gelten nicht.
Kreissägemaschinen für den Hausgebrauch werden von dieser Europäischen Norm nicht behandelt.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nur für Maschinen, die nach dem Ausgabedatum dieser Europäischen Norm
erstellt werden.
Diese Europäische Norm behandelt folgende Bauarten von Maschinen:
Kreissägemaschinen mit Zuführtisch und fest angebrachtem Materialdrücker:
⎯ Der Abstand „A“ zwischen Fußboden und Fläche des Zuführtisches zwischen 800 mm und 1 050 mm.
Der Durchmesser des Sägeblattes liegt zwischen 350 mm und 400 mm (siehe Bild 1).
⎯ Kreissägemaschinen, eingebaut in eine Zerlegeanlage (z. B. Transportband oder Rollenbahn), z. B. mit
anhebbarem Schutzteil an der Zuführ- und Abführseite. Der Durchmesser des Sägeblattes liegt zwischen
350 mm und 400 mm (siehe Bild 2).

Machines pour les produits alimentaires - Scies circulaires - Prescriptions relatives à la sécurité et à l'hygiène

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les prescriptions relatives à la conception et à la fabrication de scies
circulaires (voir les Figures 1 et 2).
Les machines concernées par la présente Norme européenne sont utilisées pour couper des os et de la viande.
Les scies circulaires couvertes par la présente Norme européenne ne sont pas des scies circulaires destinées à scier
du bois et d'autres matériaux et les prescriptions de l’EN 1870-1 ne s’appliquent pas.
Les scies circulaires à usage domestique ne sont pas incluses dans la présente Norme européenne.
La présente Norme européenne s'applique uniquement aux machines fabriquées après sa date de publication.
La présente Norme européenne couvre les types de machines suivants :
Les scies circulaires ayant une table d'alimentation et un poussoir articulé fixe.
- La distance «A» allant du sol à la face supérieure de la table d'alimentation est comprise entre 800 mm
et 1 050 mm. Le diamètre de la lame de scie est compris entre 350 mm et 400 mm (voir Figure 1).
- Les scies circulaires intégrées dans une ligne de coupe (par exemple convoyeur à bande ou à rouleaux)
par exemple ayant un dispositif de protection qui peut être relevé coté alimentation et coté évacuation.
Le diamètre de la lame de scie est compris entre 350 mm et 400 mm (voir Figure 2).

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za načrtovanje in izdelavo krožnih žag. Žage, ki jih zajema ta evropski standard, se uporabljajo za rezanje kosti in mesa. Krožne žage, ki jih zajema ta evropski standard, ne vključujejo krožnih žag za obdelavo lesa in podobnih materialov in zahteve EN 1870-1 ne veljajo. Ta evropski standard ne vključuje krožnih žag za domačo uporabo. Ta evropski standard velja samo za žage, izdelane po datumu izdaje tega evropskega standarda. Ta evropski standard zajema naslednje vrste žag: Krožne žage s podajalno mizo in pritrjenim potiskalnikom - Razdalja »A« med tlemi in zgornjo površino podajalne mize je med 800 mm in 1050 mm. Premer rezila žage je med 350 mm in 400 mm.  - Krožne žage, nameščene na rezalni liniji (npr. na transportnem ali tekočem traku), npr. z varovalom, ki se lahko dvigne na podajalni in izpustni strani. Premer rezila žage je med 350 mm in 400 mm.

Figure 2 — Circular saw machine in cutting line Circular saw machines comprise a machine base, a fixed, foldable feed table, a product pusher, a protective hood which can be lifted, a saw blade, a drive and electrical components, depending on machine type. On floor-type circular saw machines (see Figure 3) the product to be cut is placed by hand onto the feed table and pushed against the cutting zone of the saw blade by means of the product pusher and sawed. On circular saw machines which are installed in a cutting line (see Figure 4) the product to be cut is pushed by hand via the conveyor belt or roller conveyor against the cutting zone of the saw blade and sawed.
