Small wastewater treatment systems for up to 50 PT - Part 6: Prefabricated treatment units for septic tank effluent
This European Standard specifies requirements, test methods, evaluation of conformity and marking for prefabricated secondary treatment units used for the treatment of effluent from septic tanks according to EN 12566-1 or EN 12566-4 in small wastewater treatment systems for up to 50 PT.
NOTE Equivalent septic effluent may come from existing septic tanks.
It applies to the prefabricated secondary treatment unit, where all its components are packaged or site-assembled and placed on the market as a kit by one manufacturer.
The prefabricated secondary treatment unit consists of one or more tanks made of concrete, steel, unplasticised polyvinylchloride (PVC-U), polyethylene (PE), glass reinforced polyester (GRP-UP), polypropylene (PP), polydicyclopentadiene (PDCPD) or container made of flexible sheets (PEHD, PP, PVC, EPDM). Other components specified by the manufacturer, such as pipes, pumps and filter material will be considered as part of the unit.
This standard establishes the performance of the prefabricated secondary treatment units needed to verify their suitability for the end use conditions for which the test methods are specified.
This standard applies for the packaged and/or site assembled secondary treatment units for use on the top of the ground (outside the building) or buried in the ground where no vehicle loads are applied to the unit.
This standard does not cover:
- non watertight secondary treatment units with direct infiltration into the ground;
- retrofit kits (see definition in 3.7).

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren, die Konformitätsbewertung und die Kennzeich-nung für vorgefertigte Anlagen der zweiten Reinigungsstufe fest, die für die Behandlung des aus Faulgruben ablaufenden Abwassers nach EN 12566-1 oder EN 12566-4 in Kleinkläranlagen für bis zu 50 EW verwendet werden.
ANMERKUNG Gleichwertiges aus Faulgruben ablaufendes Abwasser kann aus bestehenden Faulgruben stammen.
Sie gilt für vorgefertigte Anlagen der zweiten Reinigungsstufe, bei denen sämtliche Komponenten vorgefertigt sind oder vor Ort montiert werden, und durch den Hersteller als Bausatz auf den Markt gebracht werden.
Die vorgefertigte Anlage der zweiten Reinigungsstufe besteht aus einem Behälter oder mehreren Behältern aus Beton, Stahl, weichmacherfreiem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-U), Polyethylen (PE), glasfaserverstärktem Kunststoff auf der Basis von ungesättigtem Polyesterharz (GFK-UP), Polypropylen (PP), Polydicyclopentadien (PDCPD) oder aus einem Behälter aus flexiblen Bahnen (PEHD, PP, PVC, EPDM). Weitere, durch den Hersteller spezifizierte Baugruppen, wie Rohrleitungen, Pumpen und Filtermaterial, werden als Teil der Anlage angesehen.
Diese Norm legt die Leistung von vorgefertigten Anlagen der zweiten Reinigungsstufe fest, die zur Verifi-zierung ihrer Eignung für die Endanwendungsbedingungen erforderlich ist, und für die die Prüfverfahren fest-gelegt sind.
Diese Norm gilt für Anlagen der zweiten Reinigungsstufe, die vorgefertigt sind oder vor Ort montiert werden, und die auf der Bodenoberfläche verwendet werden (außerhalb eines Gebäudes) oder so im Boden eingebaut sind, dass keine Fahrzeuglasten auf die Anlage wirken.
Diese Norm behandelt keine:
- nicht wasserdichten Anlagen der zweiten Reinigungsstufe mit direkter Infiltration in den Boden;
- Nachrüstsätze (siehe Begriff 3.7).

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences, les méthodes d'essai, l'évaluation de la conformité et le marquage d'unités préfabriquées de traitement secondaire utilisées pour le traitement des effluents s'écoulant de fosses septiques conformément à l'EN 12566-1 ou à l'EN 12566-4 dans les petites installations de traitement des eaux usées jusqu’à 50 PTE.
Elle s'applique à l'unité préfabriquée de traitement secondaire, lorsque tous ses composants sont assemblés en usine ou sur site et mis sur le marché sous forme de kit par un fabricant.
Ces unités préfabriquées de traitement secondaire sont étanches sans aucune infiltration directe dans le sol.
L'unité préfabriquée de traitement secondaire est constituée d'un ou plusieurs réservoirs en béton, en acier, en polychlorure de vinyle non plastifié (PVC-U), en polyéthylène (PE), polyester renforcé de verre (GRP-UP) ou en polypropylène (PP). D'autres composants spécifiés par le fabricant, tels que des tuyaux, des pompes et du matériel de filtration peuvent être utilisés dans l'unité.
La présente norme établit les performances des unités préfabriquées de traitement secondaire nécessaires pour vérifier leur aptitude aux conditions d'usage final pour lesquelles les méthodes d'essai sont spécifiées.
La présente norme est applicable aux unités de traitement secondaires destinées à un usage non enterré (à l’extérieur du bâtiment), ou enterrées à un emplacement où l'unité n’est pas soumise à des charges dues aux véhicules.
Les kits de remise à niveau (voir la définition 3.7) ne relèvent pas de la présente norme.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve, preskusne metode, vrednotenje skladnosti in označevanje predizdelanih sekundarnih enot za obdelavo, ki se uporabljajo pri obdelavi grezničnih odplak v skladu s standardom EN 12566-1 ali EN 12566-4 v malih čistilnih napravah do 50 PE. Uporablja se za predizdelane sekundarne enote za uporabo, ki imajo vse dele pakirane ali izdelane za sestavljanje na mestu in so na trgu na voljo kot kompleti enega proizvajalca. Predizdelana sekundarna enota za obdelavo je sestavljena iz enega ali več rezervoarjev, ki so izdelani iz betona, jekla, neplastificiranega polivinil klorida (PVC-U), polietilena (PE), s steklom ojačanega poliestra (GRP-UP), polipropilena (PP), polidiciklopentadiena (PDCPD), ali iz posode, ki je izdelana iz elastičnih trakov (PEHD, PP, PVC, EPDM). Drugi deli, ki jih navede proizvajalec (npr. cevi, črpalke in material filtra), so obravnavani kot del enote. Ta standard določa zmogljivost predizdelanih sekundarnih enot za obdelavo, ki je potrebna za dokazovanje njihove primernosti za končno uporabo v pogojih, za katere so določene preskusne metode. Ta standard se uporablja za sekundarne enote za uporabo, ki so pakirane in/ali izdelane za sestavljanje na mestu ter se uporabljajo nad zemljo (pred stavbo) ali so zakopane pod zemljo, kjer ni vozil, ki obremenjujejo enoto.

NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN 12566-6:2013 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo
CEN/TC 165 Odvajanje in čiščenje odpadne vode. Slovenski standard SIST EN 12566-6:2013 je prevod
evropskega standarda EN 12566-6:2013. V primeru spora glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem
standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski standard v enem izmed treh uradnih jezikov CEN. Slovensko
izdajo standarda je potrdil Strokovni svet SIST za splošno področje.
Odločitev za izdajo tega standarda je oktobra 2012 sprejel Strokovni svet SIST za splošno področje.
