This document specifies definitions and recommended specifications and test methods for the utilisation of PVC U, PP and PE non-virgin materials in components for non-pressure piping systems.
This document specifies the use of material with agreed specifications in the event that large quantities are to be used.
This document gives information concerning the relationship between relevant characteristics and their influence on processing/performance on pipes and/or fittings.
NOTE 1 For the purpose of this specification, the term pipes refers to extruded pipes and any parts of a fabricated fitting which is made from an extruded pipe. The term fitting means injection moulded fittings and injection moulded parts of a fabricated fitting.
NOTE 2 The product standard should specify the requirements and permitted deviations of the characteristics specified in Table 1, Table 2 and Table 3, as well as permitted dosage levels.
NOTE 3 The WG responsible for the product standard should consider those recommendations and only permit dosage levels which comply with the safety requirements of the product standard. Further, the WG should consider whether extra or more frequent product testing is relevant when using such material in the production of pipes and fittings in accordance with the relevant product standard.
NOTE 4 For the recycling process, for the testing and the use of the material National and/or European regulations may apply.

Dieses Dokument legt Begriffe, empfohlene Spezifikationen und Prüfverfahren für die Verwendung von Rücklaufmaterial und Recyclat aus PVC-U-, PP- und PE-Materialien für Rohrleitungsteile von drucklosen Rohrleitungssystemen fest.
Dieses Dokument legt den Gebrauch von Materialien mit vereinbarter Spezifikation fest, falls große Mengen verwendet werden müssen.
Dieses Dokument enthält Angaben zu dem Verhältnis zwischen den jeweiligen Eigenschaften und deren Einfluss auf Verarbeitung/Funktionsfähigkeit von Rohrleitungen und/oder Formstücken.
ANMERKUNG 1 Für die Anwendung dieser Spezifikation bezieht sich der Begriff Rohrleitungen auf extrudierte Rohrleitungen und alle Teile eines aus einem extrudierten Rohr gefertigten Formstückes. Der Begriff Formstück bezieht sich auf im Spritzgussverfahren hergestellte Formstücke und ebenso gefertigte Teile eines Formstückes.
ANMERKUNG 2 Die für die Produktnorm verantwortliche Arbeitsgruppe sollte die Anforderungen und zulässigen Abweichungen von den in den Tabellen 1, 2 und 3 beschriebenen Eigenschaften sowie zulässige Einsatzmengen festlegen.
ANMERKUNG 3 Die für die Produktnorm verantwortliche Arbeitsgruppe sollte diese Empfehlungen ernsthaft berücksichtigen und nur Einsatzmengen zulassen, die eine sichere Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen der Produktnorm ergeben. Des Weiteren sollte die Arbeitsgruppe ernsthaft abwägen, ob zusätzliche oder häufiger stattfindende Prüfungen wichtig sind, wenn derartiges

Le présent document spécifie des définitions, des spécifications recommandées et des méthodes d�essai pour
l�utilisation de matières non vierges en PVC-U, PP et PE dans des composants pour les systèmes de
canalisation sans pression.
Le présent document spécifie l�utilisation de matières selon une spécification agréée dans le cas où de
grandes quantités doivent être utilisées.
Le présent document donne des informations relatives à la relation entre les caractéristiques pertinentes et
leur influence sur la transformation/performance des tubes et/ou raccords.
NOTE 1 Pour les besoins de la présente spécification technique, le terme « tube » est employé pour désigner les tubes
extrudés et toutes les parties d'un raccord façonné à partir d'un tube extrudé. Le terme « raccord » est employé pour
désigner les raccords moulés par injection et les parties moulées par injection d'un raccord façonné.
NOTE 2 Il convient que le Groupe de travail responsable de la norme de produit spécifie à la fois les exigences et les
écarts admissibles des caractéristiques spécifiées dans les Tableaux 1, 2 et 3, ainsi que les niveaux de dosage
admissibles.
NOTE 3 Il convient que le GT responsable de la norme de produit étudie sérieusement ces recommandations et
n�autorise que des niveaux de dosage assurant une conformité sûre aux exigences de la norme de produit. De plus, il
convient que le GT examine sérieusement si des essais produits supplémentaires ou plus fréquents sont pertinents quand
une telle matière est utilisée dans la production de tubes et raccords conformes à la norme de produit correspondante.

This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 4 December 2006 for provisional application.
The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their
comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.
CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available
promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in parallel to the CEN/TS)
until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.
