This document is one in a series of standards for the determination of metals in aqueous extracts of paper and board intended for contact with food. This document specifies the test method for the determination of aluminium in aqueous extracts.
It is applicable to paper and board with extractable metal contents exceeding
- 0,2 mg aluminium per l extract.
Aluminium extract levels below those given can be measured using this document if sensitive equipment is available and if all other laboratory conditions fulfil the requirements for trace element analysis.

Dieses Dokument ist Teil einer Normenreihe für die Bestimmung von Metallen in wässrigen Extrakten aus Papier und Pappe für den Kontakt mit Lebensmitteln. Dieses Dokument legt das Prüfverfahren für die Bestimmung von Aluminium in wässrigen Extrakten fest.
Es ist anwendbar auf Papier und Pappe mit einem Gehalt an extrahierbarem Metall von mehr als
- 0,2 mg Aluminium je l Extrakt.
Niedrigere Extraktgehalte an Aluminium können unter Anwendung dieses Dokuments gemessen werden, wenn empfindliche Messgeräte zur Verfügung stehen und alle anderen Laborbedingungen die Anforderungen für die Spurenelementanalyse erfüllen.

Le présent document fait partie d’une série de normes permettant de déterminer des métaux dans des extraits aqueux de papier et de carton destinés à entrer en contact avec les denrées alimentaires. Le présent document spécifie la méthode d'essai pour la détermination de l’aluminium dans des extraits aqueux.
Il est applicable aux papiers et cartons dont la teneur en métaux extractibles dépasse :
- 0,2 mg d’aluminium par l d’extrait.
Des teneurs en extrait d’aluminium inférieures aux valeurs indiquées ci-dessus peuvent être mesurées en suivant le présent document si un appareillage sensible est disponible et si toutes les autres conditions dans le laboratoire satisfont aux exigences de l’analyse des éléments à l’état de traces.
