ISO 28721-5:2016 establishes a system for the cataloguing of defects in enamellings for chemical service and vessels. In addition, it describes some types of areas in which defects have been treated and which can easily be confounded with enamelling defects. It serves for a consistent language use concerning the designation and characterization of enamelling defects.
ISO 28721-5:2016 is limited to detectable defects and does not purport to fully take into consideration all occurring types of defects. It does not evaluate enamelling defects; the classification carried out is based on experience and corresponds, as far as possible, to ISO 28721-1.
NOTE Regarding the acceptance of glass lined equipment for use in process engineering, ISO 28721-1 applies.

Diese Norm stellt ein System für die Katalogisierung von Fehlern bei Chemie- und Apparate-Emaillierungen auf und beschreibt außerdem einige Arten von Fehlerbehandlungsstellen, die leicht mit einem Emaillierungsfehler verwechselt werden können. Sie dient dem einheitlichen Sprachgebrauch bei der Bezeichnung und Charakterisierung von Emaillierungsfehlern. Diese Norm ist nur auf erkennbare Fehler beschränkt und erhebt nicht den Anspruch auf vollständige Berücksichtigung aller vorkommenden Fehlerarten. Sie nimmt keine Bewertung von Emaillierungsfehlern vor, die vorgenommene Einstufung beruht auf Erfahrung und entspricht, soweit möglich, ISO 28721-1.
ANMERKUNG Für die Abnahme von emaillierten Apparaten für verfahrenstechnische Anlagen gilt ISO 28721-1.

ISO 28721-5:2016 établit un système de classement pour les défauts des émaillages destinés à une utilisation chimique ou au stockage de produits chimiques. De plus, elle décrit certains types de zones sur lesquelles des défauts ont été traités et qui peuvent facilement être prises pour des défauts d'émaillage. Elle vise à permettre l'utilisation d'un langage cohérent en ce qui concerne la désignation et la caractérisation des défauts d'émaillage.
ISO 28721-5:2016 se limite aux défauts détectables et ne prétend pas tenir pleinement compte de tous les types de défauts existants. Elle ne permet pas l'évaluation des défauts d'émaillage; la classification effectuée se fonde sur l'expérience et correspond, autant que possible, à l'ISO 28721‑1.
NOTE En ce qui concerne l'acceptation des équipements émaillés destinés à être utilisés dans le génie des procédés, l'ISO 28721‑1 s'applique.

Namenjen je za dosledno jezikovno uporabo glede označevanja in opisa značilnosti napak v emajlih. This document (EN ISO 28721-5:2016) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 107 "
Metallic and other inorganic coatings" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 262 “Metallic
and other inorganic coatings” the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2016, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by September 2016.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent

Dieser Europäische Norm-Entwurf wird den CEN-Mitgliedern zur parallelen Umfrage vorgelegt. Er wurde vom Technischen Komitee
CEN/TC 262 erstellt.
