Wood-based panels - Determination of formaldehyde release - Part 2: Gas analysis method

This document describes a procedure for determination of formaldehyde release from coated and uncoated wood-based panels under defined conditions.

Die Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der beschleunigten Formaldehydabgabe von Holzwerkstoffen fest. Das Verfahren ist auch zur Prüfung anderer Werkstoffe (z. B. Kantenstreifen, Fußboden-beläge, Schäume, Folien, schichtverklebte Holzprodukte) geeignet.

La présente Norme européenne prescrit une procédure pour la détermination du dégagement accéléré de formaldéhyde à partir de panneaux à base de bois utilisant la méthode d'analyse de gaz. La méthode est aussi adaptée aux essais d'autres matériaux (par exemple bandes de chant, revêtements de sol, mousses, feuilles de papier décor, panneaux de particules mélaminés).
