This European Standard specifies methods for the reduction and preparation of samples of fertilizers and liming materials and sets out the requirements for sample preparation reports. It also specifies methods for the preparation of test samples and test portions from laboratory samples of fertilizer for subsequent chemical or physical analysis. It does not cover the preparation of samples for certain physical tests which require test portions of more than 2 kg. It is applicable to all fertilizers.
NOTE The term fertilizer is used throughout the body of this European Standard and should be taken to include liming materials unless otherwise indicated.

Dieses Dokument beschreibt und/oder legt Verfahren zur Reduzierung und Vorbereitung von Proben von
Düngemitteln und Calcium-/Magnesium-Bodenverbesserungsmitteln fest und regelt Anforderungen an
Probenahmeberichte. Es legt ferner die Verfahren zur Herstellung von Untersuchungsproben und Prüfmengen
(Einwaagen) aus Düngemittel-Laboratoriumsproben für nachfolgende chemische oder physikalische
Untersuchungen fest. Nicht enthalten ist die Vorbereitung von Proben für bestimmte physikalische
Untersuchungen, die Prüfmengen von mehr als 2 kg erfordern. Dieses Dokument gilt für alle Düngemittel.
ANMERKUNG Der Begriff Düngemittel ist durchgängig in diesem Dokument verwendet worden und schließt, wenn
nicht anders angegeben, Calcium-/Magnesium-Bodenverbesserungsmittel ein.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie des méthodes de réduction et de préparation des échantillons d’engrais et amendements minéraux basiques et établit les exigences relatives aux rapports d’échantillonnage. Elle spécifie également des méthodes de préparation d’échantillons d’essai et de prises d’essai issues d’échantillons de laboratoire des engrais en vue d’une analyse physique ou chimique ultérieure. La présente norme ne couvre pas la préparation d’échantillons destinés à certains essais physiques nécessitant l’obtention de prises d’essai d’une masse supérieure à 2 kg. Elle s’applique à tous les engrais.
NOTE Le terme « engrais » est utilisé tout au long du présent document et il convient de le considérer comme incluant les amendements minéraux basiques, sauf indication contraire.
