Road marking materials - Preformed road markings

This document specifies the product characteristics, laboratory test methods, the way of expressing results and the relevant procedures for assessment and verification of the constancy of performance, for preformed road markings (namely, marking tapes and preformed markings) of types I and II (structured and non-structured) to be used for permanent road markings, in circulation areas.
This document does not cover:
-   hot applied thermoplastics, even if commercialized in the form of sheets or on rolls, which requires the addition of drop-on materials to build up the road marking on the field site. Those products are considered to be duly covered by EN 1871:2020;
-   preformed road markings for temporary use.

Straßenmarkierungsmaterialien - Vorgefertigte Markierungen

Dieses Dokument legt die Produktmerkmale, die Laborprüfverfahren, die Art und Weise der Angabe von Ergebnissen und die relevanten Verfahren für die Bewertung und Überprüfung der Leistungsbeständigkeit von vorgefertigten Straßenmarkierungen (nämlich Markierungsfolien und vorgefertigten Markierungen) vom Typ I und II (profiliert und nicht profiliert) für die Verwendung als dauerhafte Straßenmarkierung auf Verkehrsflächen fest.
Dieses Dokument behandelt nicht:
-   Heißplastikmasse, die die Hinzufügung von Nachstreumitteln erfordert, um die Straßenmarkierung vor Ort aufzubauen, selbst wenn sie in Form von Stapel- oder Rollenware vertrieben wird. Es wird davon ausgegangen, dass diese Produkte ausreichend von EN 1871:2020 behandelt werden; vorgefertigte Straßenmarkierungen für den vorübergehenden Gebrauch.

Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques des produits, les méthodes d’essai en laboratoire, la manière d’exprimer les résultats et les procédures correspondantes pour l’évaluation et la vérification de la constance des performances, pour les marquages routiers préformés (à savoir les bandes de marquage et les marquages préformés) des types I et II (structurés et non structurés) à utiliser pour les marquages routiers permanents dans les zones de circulation.
Ce document ne couvre pas les aspects suivants :
- les enduits à chaud, même s’ils sont commercialisés sous forme de feuilles ou de rouleaux, qui nécessitent l’ajout de matériaux de saupoudrage pour composer le marquage routier sur le terrain. Ces produits sont considérés comme dûment couverts par l’EN 1871:2020 ;
- les marquages routiers préformés à utilisation temporaire.
