EN 13162:2001/AC:2005 (E/F/D) 2 English version 3.2 Symbol AF In order to align with EN 29053 airflow resistivity, AFr shall be declared instead of airflow resistance AF where the symbol 'r' denoted resistivity. In 3.2 the symbol AF and its definition is replaced, as follows,  AFr
is the symbol of level airflow resistivity. 4.2.1 Thermal resistance and thermal conductivity In 4.2.1 Thermal resistance and thermal conductivity the text,  the thermal resistance, RD, shall always be declared. The thermal conductivity, λD, shall be declared where possible; is replaced by:  for products of uniform thickness, the thermal resistance, RD, shall always be declared. The thermal conductivity, λD, shall be declared where possible. Where appropriate, for products of non-uniform thickness (i.e. for sloped and tapered products) only the thermal conductivity, λD, shall be declared. 4.2.3 Thickness In the second sentence replace “15 kPa” by “10 kPa”. 4.3.10.3 Compressibility In Table 3 the wording 'on mean value' and 'on individual measurement' has been added for clarification. A new Table 3, shown below replaces the Table 3 in EN 13162:2001. Air flow resistance The title of the clause is replaced by “4.3.12 Air flow resistivity” In addition the text of 4.3.12 is replaced by the following to include reference to the symbol and correct unit.



EN 13162:2001/AC:2005 (E/F/D) 3 “Air flow resistivity, AFr, shall be determined in accordance with EN 29053. The value of air flow resistivity shall be declared in levels with steps of 1 kPa·s/m³. No test result shall be lower than the declared value.” 6 Designation code Add the following note at the end of the clause: "NOTE The characteristics determined in 4.2 are not included in the designation code if a limit value
(threshold value) is given for the product.
8 Marking and labelling Delete: "- year of manufacture (the last two digits)"
Annex ZA, Table ZA.1 "The spelling error 'compulsary' shall be "compulsory". Annex ZA, Table ZA.3 – Example CE marking information replace the sentence: “Two last digits of year of affixing CE marking” by “Two last digits of year of affixing CE marking (ITT)”
