ISO 8503-5:2017 describes a field method for measuring the surface profile produced by any of the abrasive blast-cleaning procedures given in ISO 8504-2. The method uses replica tape and a suitable gauge for measuring, on site, the roughness of a surface before the application of paint or another protective coating.
The method is applicable within the range of profile heights cited for a given grade (or thickness) of replica tape. The commercial grades currently available permit measurement of average peak-to-valley profiles of 20 µm to 115 µm. The method is valid for surfaces that have been cleaned with abrasives.

Dieses Dokument beschreibt ein Feldverfahren zum Messen der Rauheit, die durch eines der in ISO 8504 2 angegebenen Strahlverfahren erzeugt worden ist. Bei dem Verfahren wird ein Abdruckband verwendet und ein Gerät zum Messen der Rauheit auf der Baustelle, bevor Beschichtungsstoffe aufgetragen werden.
Das Verfahren ist innerhalb des Rauheitsbereiches anwendbar, der für eine bestimmte Sorte (oder Dicke) des Abdruckbandes angegeben ist. Die derzeit handelsüblichen Sorten erlauben die Messung von durch-schnittlichen Rautiefen von 20 µm bis 115 µm. Das Verfahren gilt für Oberflächen, die gestrahlt wurden.

ISO 8503-5:2017 décrit une méthode sur site pour mesurer le profil de surface produit par l'une des méthodes de décapage par projection d'abrasif indiquées dans l'ISO 8504‑2. La méthode utilise un ruban adhésif à empreinte et une jauge appropriée pour mesurer, sur site, la rugosité d'une surface avant l'application de la peinture ou d'un autre revêtement de protection.
La méthode est applicable dans la gamme de hauteurs de profil mentionnée pour une classe (ou une épaisseur) donnée de ruban adhésif à empreinte. Les classes actuellement disponibles sur le marché permettent de mesurer des profils moyens de saillie à creux de 20 µm à 115 µm. La méthode convient pour des surfaces qui ont été nettoyées avec des abrasifs.

Ta dokument opisuje terensko metodo za merjenje profila površine, obdelane s katerim koli postopkom peskanja z abrazivom, opisanim v standardu ISO 8504-2. Metoda določa uporabo odtisnega traku in ustreznega merilnika, s katerima se na mestu uporabe izmeri hrapavost površine pred nanosom barve ali drugega
zaščitnega premaza.
Metoda se uporablja v razponu višin profilov, navedenih za dani razred (ali debelino) odtisnega traku. Komercialni razredi, ki so trenutno na voljo, omogočajo meritve povprečnih profilov z amplitudo od 20 μm do 115 μm. Metoda se uporablja za površine, ki so bile očiščene z abrazivi.
