ISO 4628-6:2011 provides pictorial reference standards for designating the degree of chalking of paint coatings. It also describes a method by which the degree of chalking is rated.

Dieser Teil von ISO 4628 enthält Vergleichsbilder und ein Verfahren zur Bewertung des Kreidungsgrades von
Beschichtungen. Bei diesem Verfahren ist es wichtig, zwischen Abbauprodukten der Beschichtung und
anhaftendem Schmutz zu unterscheiden, besonders, wenn die Kreidung nur gering ist.

This document (EN ISO 4628-6:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 35 "Paints and
varnishes" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 139 “Paints and varnishes” the secretariat of
which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by March 2012.
