High performance industrial helmets

This European Standard specifies physical, performance, test and marking requirements for high performance industrial helmets.
High performance industrial helmets, as specified in this European Standard, are intended to provide to the wearer protection against falling objects and off crown impacts and the consequential brain injury, skull fracture and neck injury.
This European Standard includes mandatory requirements that apply to all high performance industrial helmets and additional, optional, performance requirements that apply only where specifically claimed by the helmet manufacturer.

Hochleistungs-Industrieschutzhelme

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an die physikalische Gestaltung, Leistungsfähigkeit, Prüfung
und Kennzeichnung von Hochleistungs-Industrieschutzhelmen fest.
Hochleistungs-Industrieschutzhelme nach den Festlegungen dieser Europäischen Norm sind dazu bestimmt,
dem Träger Schutz gegen fallende Gegenstände und seitlichen Aufprall und sich daraus ergebende
Hirnverletzungen, Schädelbrüche und Nackenschäden zu bieten.
Diese Europäische Norm enthält obligatorische Anforderungen, die für alle Hochleistungs-Industrieschutzhelme
gelten sowie zusätzliche wahlweise Leistungsanforderungen, die nur dann anzuwenden
sind, wenn sie nach Herstellerangaben erfüllt werden sollen.

Casques de protection à haute performance pour l'industrie

La présente Norme européenne précise les exigences physiques et de performance ainsi que d'essai et de marquage pour les casques de protection à haute performance pour l'industrie.
Les casques de protection à haute performance pour l'industrie, comme spécifié dans la présente Norme européenne, sont destinés à assurer au porteur une protection contre la chute d'objets et les chocs latéraux, ainsi que contre les lésions cérébrales, les fractures du crâne et de la nuque qui en résultent.
La présente norme comporte les exigences obligatoires qui s'appliquent à tous les casques, ainsi que les exigences supplémentaires facultatives relatives aux performances qui ne s'appliquent que lorsqu'elles sont spécifiquement revendiquées par le fabricant du casque.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2006, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by May 2006. This European Standard has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of EU Directive(s). NACIONALNI UVOD
Standard SIST EN 14052 (sl), Industrijske čelade z visoko stopnjo zaščite, 2006, ima status
slovenskega standarda in je enakovreden evropskemu standardu EN 14052 (en, de, fr), High
performance industrial helmets, 2005.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN 14052:2005 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo
CEN/TC 158 Zaščita glave. Slovenski standard SIST EN 14052:2006 je prevod evropskega standarda
EN 14052:2005. V primeru spora glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen
izvirni evropski standard. Slovensko izdajo standarda je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC OVP Osebna
varovalna oprema.
Odločitev za izdajo tega standarda je dne 5. decembra 2005 sprejel SIST/TC OVP Osebna varovalna
oprema.

Ta evropski standard je CEN sprejel dne 26. septembra 2005.
