Railway applications - Track - Test methods for fastening systems - Part 7: Determination of clamping force and uplift stiffness

This document specifies the laboratory test procedure for determining the clamping force exerted by the fastening system on the foot of the rail by measuring the force to separate the rail foot from its immediate support. When required, the procedure is also used to determine the uplift stiffness of the fastening system. It is applicable to systems with and without baseplates on all types of sleepers, bearers or elements of slab track. The test does not determine the security of the fastening components fixed into the sleeper or other fastening system support.
This test procedure applies to a complete fastening assembly. It is not applicable to fastening systems for embedded rail or other fastening systems that do not act on the foot of the rail.

Dieses Dokument legt die Laborprüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Spannkraft fest, die von einem Befestigungssystem auf den Schienenfuß ausgeübt wird. Hierbei wird die Kraft gemessen, die erforderlich ist, um den Schienenfuß von seiner unmittelbaren Auflage zu trennen. Diese Prüfung kann auch angewendet werden, um die Abhebesteifigkeit der Schienenbefestigungssysteme zu bestimmen. Sie sind auf Befestigungssysteme mit und ohne Rippenplatten für alle Arten von Gleis- und Weichenschwellen und Teilstücke Feste Fahrbahn anwendbar. Die Prüfung gibt keinen Aufschluss über die Sicherheit von Befestigungsteilen, die in der Schwelle oder einem anderen Auflager des Befestigungssystems fest verankert sind.
Dieses Prüfverfahren gilt für ein komplettes Schienenbefestigungssystem. Es gilt nicht für Schienen-befestigungssysteme eingebetteter Schienen oder andere Befestigungssysteme, die nicht am Schienenfuß wirken.

Le présent document spécifie le mode opératoire d'essai en laboratoire pour la détermination de l'effort de serrage appliqué au patin du rail par le système de fixation, en mesurant la force nécessaire pour séparer le patin du rail de son support immédiat. Si nécessaire, le mode opératoire est également utilisé pour déterminer la raideur de soulèvement du système de fixation. Ce mode opératoire s'applique aux systèmes munis ou non de selles, disposés sur tous les types de traverses, supports et éléments de voie sur dalle. Cet essai ne détermine pas la sécurité des éléments de fixation encastrés dans la traverse ou tout autre support de système de fixation.
Ce mode opératoire d'essai s'applique à un système de fixation complet. Il ne s'applique pas aux systèmes de fixation destinés aux rails enrobés ou aux autres systèmes de fixation qui n'agissent pas sur le patin du rail.

Ta evropski standard določa laboratorijski preskusni postopek za določanje pritisne sile vzmeti, ki jo ima pritrdilni sistem ob vznožju tirnice, z merjenjem sile, ki je potrebna za ločevanje vznožja tirnice z njegove neposredne podpore. Kadar je potrebno, se postopek uporablja tudi za določanje dvižne togosti pritrdilnega sistema. Uporablja se za sisteme s podnožnimi ploščami ali brez njih na vseh vrstah pragov, nosilnih ogrodij in tirnih elementov. Preskus ne določa varnosti pritrdilnih komponent, pritrjenih na prag, ali druge podpore pritrdilnega sistema. Ta preskusni postopek se uporablja za celoten pritrdilni sestav. Ne uporablja se za pritrdilne sisteme za vgrajene tirnice.

EN 13146-7:2019 (E) 3 European foreword This document (EN 13146-7:2019) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 256 “Railway applications”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by July 2019, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by July 2019. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. This document supersedes EN 13146-7:2012. Compared with EN 13146-7:2012, the following changes have been made: a) update of the European foreword; b) adaptation of normative references; c) revised Clause 7 and added adjustments to the loading for systems with or without interlayers / intermediate plates; d) editorially revised.
