ISO 17827-2:2016 specifies a method for the determination of the size distribution of particulate biofuels by the vibrating screen method. The method described is meant for particulate biofuels only, namely, materials that either have been reduced in size, such as most wood fuels, or are physically in a particulate form. This part of ISO 17827 applies to particulate uncompressed fuels with a nominal top size of 3,15 mm and below (e.g. sawdust).

Dieses Teil der ISO 17827 legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Größenverteilung von biogenen Brennstoffen als Schüttgut durch das Rüttelsiebverfahren fest. Das beschriebene Verfahren ist ausschließlich für biogene Brennstoffe als Schüttgut vorgesehen, d. h. Materialien, die entweder in ihrer Größe reduziert worden sind, so wie die meisten Holzbrennstoffe, oder die als Schüttgut vorliegen. Dieses Teil der ISO 17827 gilt für unkomprimierte Brennstoffe in Form von Schüttgut mit einer nominellen Siebgröße von 3,5 mm und weniger (z. B. Sägespäne).

ISO 17827-2:2016 spécifie une méthode de détermination de la distribution granulométrique des biocombustibles particulaires à l'aide d'un tamis vibrant. La méthode décrite est destinée uniquement aux biocombustibles particulaires, c'est-à-dire à des matériaux qui ont été fragmentés, comme la plupart des combustibles ligneux, ou qui se présentent physiquement sous forme particulaire. La présente partie de l'ISO 17827 s'applique aux combustibles particulaires non comprimés de dimension supérieure nominale inférieure ou égale à 3,15 mm (par exemple la sciure).

Ta mednarodni standard opisuje metodo za določanje porazdelitve velikosti delcev biogoriv z metodo z vodoravno nihajočim sitom. Uporablja se za nestisnjena goriva z nazivno zrnatostjo vsaj 1 mm, kot so lesni sekanci, drobljenci, olivne koščice itd. Vzorec se preseje skozi vodoravno nihajoča sita, ki mehansko razvrstijo delce po velikosti od največjih do najmanjših. Sejanje mora potekati z vodoravno nihajočim premikanjem (eno- ali dvodimenzionalno) in uporabo ustrezne frekvence sunkov skladno z vrsto materiala. Število sit in velikosti njihovih odprtin je treba izbrati v skladu s specifikacijo velikosti dejanskega vzorčnega materiala.

Part 2 can also be used for round hole sieves with apertures of 4,0 and 5,6 mm.

1 Scope

This part of ISO 17827 specifies a method for the determination of the size distribution of particulate

biofuels by the vibrating screen method. The method described is meant for particulate biofuels only,
