Simultaneous interpreting - Interpreters’ working environment - Part 2: Requirements and recommendations for mobile booths (ISO 17651-2:2024)

This document specifies requirements and recommendations for the design, use and siting of mobile booths for simultaneous interpreting. The main features of mobile booths that distinguish them from permanent booths are that they can be dismantled, moved and set up in a room. This document also ensures the usability and accessibility of booths for all interpreters.
This document is to be used in conjunction with ISO 20109, which contains requirements and recommendations for the equipment necessary for simultaneous interpreting. For requirements and recommendations for mobile booths which do not have a direct view of a room, see ISO 17651-3.[1]

Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen an und Empfehlungen für die Ausführung, Nutzung und Standortwahl von mobilen Kabinen für Simultandolmetschen fest. Die Hauptmerkmale, die sie von ortsfesten Kabinen für Simultandolmetschen unterscheiden, sind jene, dass mobile Kabinen demontiert, transportiert und in einem Raum aufgebaut werden können. Dieses Dokument stellt auch die Verwendbarkeit und Zugänglichkeit für alle Dolmetscher sicher.
Dieses Dokument ist zur Verwendung in Verbindung mit ISO20109 vorgesehen, die Anforderungen an und Empfehlungen für die Ausrüstungen, die für Simultandolmetschen erforderlich sind, enthält. Anforderungen an und Empfehlungen für mobile Kabinen ohne direkte Sicht auf einen Raum sind in ISO17651-3

Le présent document spécifie les exigences et recommandations relatives à la conception, à l’utilisation et à l’installation de cabines mobiles pour l’interprétation simultanée. La caractéristique qui distingue principalement les cabines mobiles des cabines permanentes est leur capacité à être démontées, transportées et installées dans une salle. Ce document garantit également la facilité d’utilisation et l’accessibilité des cabines pour tous les interprètes.
Le présent document est destiné à être utilisé conjointement avec l’ISO 20109, qui contient les exigences et recommandations relatives à l’équipement nécessaire pour l’interprétation simultanée. Pour les exigences et recommandations relatives aux cabines mobiles qui n’ont pas une vue directe sur la salle, voir l’ISO 17651-3[1].
