This European Standard is applicable to the bolting technicians, and their supervisors, the responsible engineers, who disassemble, assemble and tighten the bolted connections of whatever shape of critical service pressurised systems. A failure of a connection in such a system would endanger personnel, plant or the environment. A route for achieving competency in the skills required to safely and successfully disassemble, assemble and tighten pressurised bolted joints of any shape to a design bolt load using documented work instructions is given in this document. The aim is the establishment of a joint capable of maintaining a leak-free status throughout its’ service life.
This European Standard provides a modular training syllabus and an assessment process that can be used to determine the competency of personnel who disassemble, assemble and tighten bolted connections, whatever their shape, fitted to pressurised equipment containing a medium at any combination of temperature and pressure.
Bolting technicians have to assemble bolted connections of different levels of complexity. For this reason, training matrices dealing with bolted connections of various levels of complexity and for different types of pressurised bolted connections are given in this document. The modular structure created allows a bolting technician, once competency in the foundation level has been achieved, to obtain competency in higher levels as required.
Certification to this European Standard provides an attestation of general competency in accordance with the stated syllabi and assessments.
Certification to this European Standard does not represent an authorisation to operate, since this remains the responsibility of the employer, and the certified person may require additional specialised knowledge of employer-specific procedures, processes and equipment.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Verschraubungsmonteure, und deren Vorgesetzte, den verantwortlichen Ingenieuren, die Schraubverbindungen jeglicher Form demontieren, montieren und anziehen, die Bestandteil von druckbeaufschlagten Systemen im kritischen Einsatz sind. Das Versagen einer Verbindung in einem solchen System würde das Personal, die Anlage oder die Umwelt gefährden. In diesem Dokument ist ein Weg zum Erreichen der Befähigung in Bezug auf die benötigten Fertigkeiten für die sichere und erfolgreiche Demontage, Montage und das Anziehen von Schraubver¬bindungen in druckbeaufschlagten Systemen jeglicher Form bis zu einer berechneten Schraubenkraft mittels dokumentierter Arbeitsanweisungen angegeben. Das Ziel ist das Herstellen einer Verbindung, die in der Lage ist, über die gesamte Betriebslebensdauer „dicht“ zu bleiben.
Diese Europäische Norm legt einen modularen Lehrplan für die Schulung und ein Bewertungsverfahren vor, das zur Bestimmung der Befähigung des Personals angewendet werden kann, das Schraubverbindungen jeglicher Form demontiert, montiert und anzieht, die in druckbeaufschlagten Systemen eingebaut sind, die Medien in beliebigen Kombinationen aus Druck und Temperatur enthalten.
Verschraubungsmonteure müssen Schraubverbindungen der verschiedenen Anforderungsstufen montieren. Deshalb sind in diesem Dokument Schulungsvorgaben angegeben, die Schraubverbindungen der unter-schiedlichen Anforderungsstufen behandeln und für verschiedene Arten von Schraubver¬bindungen in druckbeaufschlagten Systemen. Die modulare Struktur ermöglicht Verschraubungsmonteuren, nach Erreichen der Grundqualifikationsstufe, weiterführende Schulungen zu absolvieren.
Die Bescheinigung nach dieser Europäischen Norm stellt eine Bestätigung der allgemeinen Befähigung in Übereinstimmung mit den festgelegten Lehrplänen und Bewertungen dar.
Eine Bescheinigung nach dieser Europäischen Norm stellt keinen Arbeitserlaubnisschein dar, da dies in der Ver¬antwortung des Arbeitgebers verbleibt und es notwendig sein kann, dass die befähigte Person zusätzliche Fachkenntnisse arbeitgeberspezifischer Verfahren, Prozesse und Geräte aufweisen muss.

La présente Norme européenne s’applique aux techniciens chargés du boulonnage et à leurs superviseurs, les ingénieurs responsables, qui démontent, montent et serrent les assemblages boulonnés, quelle que soit leur forme, des systèmes sous pression en service critique. Une rupture d’un assemblage dans un tel système représenterait un danger pour le personnel, l’installation ou l’environnement. Dans le présent document est décrit le cursus qui permet d’acquérir les compétences requises pour procéder en toute sécurité et de manière satisfaisante au démontage, au montage et au serrage des assemblages boulonnés sous pression, quelle que soit leur forme, en appliquant l’effort prévu dans les boulons en utilisant les instructions de travail documentées. L’objectif est la réalisation d’un assemblage qui pourra demeurer étanche tout au long de sa durée de vie en service.
La présente Norme européenne fournit un programme de formation modulaire et un processus d’évaluation pouvant être utilisés pour déterminer les compétences du personnel chargé du démontage, du montage et du serrage des assemblages boulonnés, quelle que soit leur forme, sur un équipement sous pression contenant un produit, quelles que soient les conditions de température et de pression.
Les techniciens chargés du boulonnage sont amenés à monter des assemblages boulonnés présentant des niveaux de complexité variables. Pour cette raison, le présent document fournit des plans de formation traitant d’assemblages boulonnés présentant différents niveaux de complexité et concernant différents types d’assemblages boulonnés sous pression. La structure modulaire créée permet à un technicien chargé du boulonnage, une fois les compétences du niveau de base acquises, d’acquérir les compétences des niveaux supérieurs, en fonction des besoins.
La certification selon cette Norme européenne constitue une attestation des compétences générales conformément aux programmes de formation et évaluations décrits.

Ta evropski standard se uporablja za tehnike za delo z vijaki in njihove nadzornike, odgovorne inženirje, ki razstavljajo, montirajo in zatezajo vijačne spoje na sistemih pod tlakom v kritičnih primerih kakršne koli oblike. Popuščanje spoja v takem sistemu bi ogrozilo osebje, obrat ali okolje. Pot za doseganje usposobljenosti v veščinah, potrebnih za varno in uspešno razstavljanje, montažo in zatezanje vijačnih spojev kakršne koli oblike pod tlakom z uporabo dokumentiranih delovnih navodil, je opisana v tem dokumentu. Cilj je doseči spoj, ki zagotavlja učinkovito tesnjenje do izteka življenjske dobe. Ta evropski standard zagotavlja modularni učni načrt za usposabljanje in ocenjevalni proces, ki ga je mogoče uporabiti za ugotavljanje usposobljenosti osebja, ki razstavlja, montira ter zateza vijačne spoje, ne glede na njihovo obliko, ki so nameščeni na opremo pod tlakom, ki vsebuje medij pri kateri koli kombinaciji temperature in tlaka. Tehniki za delo z vijaki morajo montirati vijačne spoje različnih zahtevnosti. Zato so v tem dokumentu opisane matrike za usposabljanje, ki obravnavajo vijačne spoje različnih zahtevnosti in so namenjene za različne vrste vijačnih spojev pod tlakom. Ustvarjena modularna struktura omogoča tehniku za delo z vijaki, ki doseže ustrezno usposobljenost na osnovni ravni, da se usposobi tudi za delo na višjih ravneh, kot je potrebno. Certificiranje v skladu s tem evropskim standardom omogoča potrjevanje splošne usposobljenosti v skladu z navedenim učnim načrtom in vrednotenji.
