This European Standard specifies the requirements for water that is suitable for making concrete that conforms to EN 206-1 and describes methods for assessing its suitability.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen für Wasser fest, das für die Herstellung von Beton nach EN 206-1 geeignet ist, und beschreibt Verfahren für die Beurteilung seiner Eignung.

Standard SIST EN 1008 (sl), Voda za pripravo betona - Zahteve za vzorčenje, preskušanje in
ugotavljanje primernosti vode za pripravo betona, vključno vode, pridobljene iz procesov v industriji
betona, 2003, ima status slovenskega nacionalnega standarda in je istoveten evropskemu standardu
EN 1008 (en), Mixing water for concrete - Specification for sampling, testing and assessing the
suitability of water, including water recovered from processes in the concrete industry, as mixing water
for concrete, June 2002.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN 1008:2002 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo
CEN/TC 104 Beton in betonski proizvodi.
Slovenski pododbor SIST/TC BBB/SC 8 Voda in dodatki tehničnega odbora SIST/TC BBB Beton,
armirani in prednapeti beton je dne  2002-11-13 privzel evropski standard EN 1008:2002 po metodi
ponatisa. Standard v slovenskem jeziku je le njegova jezikovna različica.
V primeru spora glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski
standard v angleškem jeziku.
OPOMBI
- Povsod, kjer se v besedilu standarda uporablja izraz “evropski standard”, v
SIST EN 1008:2003 to pomeni “slovenski nacionalni standard”.
- Nacionalni uvod in nacionalni predgovor nista sestavni del standarda.
- Ta nacionalni dokument je istoveten EN 1008:2002 in je objavljen z dovoljenjem
