Respiratory protective devices - Gas filters and combined filters - Requirements, testing, marking

This European Standard specifies gas filters and combined filters for use as components in unassisted respiratory protective devices. AX filters against low boiling organic compounds, SX filters against specific named compounds and CO filters are excluded.  Laboratory tests are   included for the assessment of compliance with the requirements.  Some filters complying with this standard may also be suitable for use with other types of respiratory protective devices and if so shall be tested and marked according to the appropriate European Standard.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Gasfilter und Kombinationsfilter als Bestandteile von Atem-schutzgeräten ohne Luftversorgung. AX Filter gegen niedrigsiedende organische Verbindungen, SX Filter gegen speziell genannte Verbindungen und CO Filter sind ausgeschlossen. Laborprüfungen sind enthalten, um die Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen feststellen zu können. Einige Filter, die dieser Europäischen Norm entsprechen, können auch für andere Typen von Atemschutzgeräten geeignet sind. Falls dies zutrifft, müssen sie gemäß der entsprechenden Europäischen Norm geprüft und gekennzeichnet sein.

Appareils de protection respiratoire - Filtres anti-gaz et filtres combinés - Exigences, essais, marquage

La présente norme européenne spécifie des filtres antigaz et des filtres combinés utilisés comme composants des appareils de protection respiratoire non assistés. Les filtres AX contre les composés organiques à bas point d'ébullition, les filtres SX contre certains composés spécifiques désignés et les filtres CO sont exclus. Elle contient des essais en laboratoire pour assurer la conformité avec les exigences.
