Cranes - Offshore cranes - Part 2: Floating cranes

This document specifies the safety requirements for floating cranes including their supporting pedestals or structures.
This document applies to cranes manufactured after the date of issue of this document.
This document does not cover:
a)   fabrication, assembly, dismantling or changing the configuration of the crane;
b)   lifting accessories, i.e. any item between the hook and the load;
c)   design temperature below -20 °C;
d)   operations at an ambient temperature above 50 °C;
e)   cranes covered by the Machinery Directive.
The significant hazards covered by this document are identified in clause 4.
This document includes requirements for lifting of persons. The use of cranes for lifting of persons may be subject to specific national regulations. Where National Authorities permit the use of a floating crane for the lifting of persons, the crane would at least need to fulfil the requirements of this standard and be adopted in accordance with the relevant National regulations for the lifting of persons.

Krane - Offshore-Krane - Teil 2: Schwimmende Krane

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Schwimm-Krane.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für:
a) Montage, Demontage oder Änderung der Krankonfiguration;
b) Lastaufnahmemittel;
c) den Betrieb bei Temperaturen unter -20 °C;
d) Hubvorgänge an denen mehrere Schwimm-Krane beteiligt sind.
Diese Europäische Norm befasst sich mit wesentlichen Gefährdungen, gefährlichen Situationen und Ereignissen in bezug auf Schwimm-Krane, soweit diese unter den vom Hersteller vorgesehenen Bedingungen eingesetzt werden.
Anmerkung:   Der Einsatz von Kranen für den Personentransport kann Gegenstand besonderer nationaler Vorschriften sein.
Für die Zwecke dieser Europäische Norm wird die Grenze zwischen einem Schwimm-Kran und seinem Fundament und folgt definiert:
¾ Alle lasttragenden Konstruktionsteile, in denen Spannungen hauptsächlich durch die Beanspruchungen des Kranes und nicht durch Schwimmkräfte verursacht werden, gelten als Teile des Kranes.
Die durch diese Europäische Norm erfassten wesentlichen Gefährdungen sind im Abschnitt 4 benannt.
Diese Europäische Norm ist nicht auf Schwimm-Krane anwendbar, die vor dem Datum der Veröffentlichung durch CEN hergestellt wurden.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives aux grues flottantes y compris leurs socles et structures.
Le présent document s'applique aux grues construits après sa date de publication.
Le présent document ne couvre pas :
a)   la fabrication, le montage, le démontage ou la modification de configuration de la grue ;
b)   les accessoires de levage, c'est-à-dire tout élément entre le crochet et la charge ;
c)   les températures de calcul inférieure à - 20 °C ;
d)   les opérations effectuées température ambiante supérieure à 50 °C ;
e)   les appareils de levage à charge suspendue couvertes par la Directive Machines.
Les phénomènes dangereux significatifs couverts dans le présent document sont identifiés à l'Article 4.
Le présent document comprend les exigences relatives au levage des personnes. L'utilisation de grues pour le levage de personnes peut être soumise à des réglementations nationales spécifiques. Lorsque les autorités nationales permettent l'utilisation de grues flottantes pour le levage des personnes, il convient que la grue satisfasse au moins les exigences de la présente norme et soit adoptée conformément aux réglementations nationales correspondantes pour le levage de personnes.
