Non-destructive testing - Terminology - Part 9: Terms used in acoustic emission testing

This European Standard is concerned only with terms used specifically in acoustic emission testing (AT) and these fall into four parts:
-   terms relating to the physical phenomenon;
-   terms relating to the detection of the acoustic emission;
-   terms relating to the measured characteristics of the signal(s);
-   terms relating to acoustic emission applications.

Diese Europäische Norm betrifft nur Begriffe, die speziell auf dem Gebiet der Schallemissionsprüfung (en: acoustic emission testing, AT) verwendet werden, und diese sind in vier Gruppen eingeteilt:
-   Begriffe in Bezug auf das physikalische Phänomen;
-   Begriffe in Bezug auf den Nachweis von Schallemission;
-   Begriffe, die sich auf die gemessenen Merkmale des (der) Signals (Signale) beziehen;
-   Begriffe in Bezug auf die Anwendungen der Schallemission.

La présente Norme européenne définit uniquement les termes spécifiques du contrôle par émission acoustique (AT), lesquels sont répartis en quatre catégories :
-   les termes relatifs au phénomène physique ;
-   les termes relatifs à la détection de l'émission acoustique ;
-   les termes relatifs aux caractéristiques mesurées des signaux ;
-   les termes relatifs aux applications de l’émission acoustique.

Ta evropski standard se nanaša le na izraze, ki se uporabljajo posebej za preizkušanje akustične emisije (AT) in se delijo na štiri dele:
– izrazi, ki se nanašajo na fizikalni pojav;
– izrazi, ki se nanašajo na odkrivanje akustičnih emisij;
– izrazi, ki se nanašajo na izmerjene značilnosti signala(-ov);
– izrazi, ki se nanašajo na uporabo akustičnih emisij.

EN 1330-9:2017 (E) 3 European foreword This document (EN 1330-9:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 138 “Non-destructive testing”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by January 2018, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by January 2018. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
