This document is applicable in the aeronautical domain to on-board parts and to equipment intended to be embedded or positioned on any civil or military airborne vehicle with a type certificate.
The purpose of this document is to guide design, manufacturing, maintenance and operations organizations in the installation, removal and replacement of RFID tags (UHF and HF) and Contact Memory Buttons (CMB), according to the environments defined in RTCA DO-160/EUROCAE ED-14 and according to the type of support and the expected fixation performances. This guide will provide help in the specification of the tag installation/removal functions and/or will enable the solutions on offer from tag suppliers to be enhanced.
The term "tag" used in this document covers all the tags used to store electronic data, including RFID tags and CMB tags. As a reminder, the tags can also contain information that can be read by devices other than RFID or CMB readers (e.g. bar codes - Data Matrix, QR codes, etc., and/or alphanumerical characters) and information that can be read by the naked eye without any tools (human-readable).

Dieses Dokument ist anwendbar für Bordteile und Ausrüstungen im Luftfahrtbereich, die dafür vorgesehen sind, in alle zivilen oder militärischen Luftfahrzeuge mit einer Musterzulassung eingebettet oder daran angebracht zu werden.
Der Zweck dieses Dokuments besteht darin, Entwicklungs , Herstellungs , Wartungs und Betriebsorganisationen beim Anbringen, Entfernen und Ersetzen von RFID Tags (UHF und HF) und Kontakt Speicherbuttons (CMB, en: contact memory button) entsprechend den in RTCA DO 160/EUROCAE ED 14 definierten Umgebungsbedingungen sowie der Art des Trägers und den erwarteten Befestigungsleistungen anzuleiten. Diese Anleitung wird eine Hilfestellung bei der Festlegung der Funktionen für das Anbringen/Entfernen von Tags bieten und/oder eine Verbesserung der von den Tag-Lieferanten angebotenen Lösungen ermöglichen.
Der in diesem Dokument verwendete Begriff „Tag“ umfasst alle Tags, die zur Speicherung elektronischer Daten verwendet werden, einschließlich RFID Tags und CMB Tags. Es sei daran erinnert, dass die Tags auch Informationen enthalten können, die von anderen Geräten als RFID oder CMB Lesegeräten gelesen werden können (z. B. Strichcodes — Data Matrix, QR Codes usw. und/oder alphanumerische Zeichen), sowie Informationen, die mit bloßem Auge ohne jegliche Hilfsmittel gelesen werden können (Klartext).

Le présent document s'applique, dans le domaine aéronautique, aux pièces embarquées et aux équipements destinés à être incorporés ou positionnés sur tout véhicule aéroporté civil ou militaire disposant d’un certificat de type.
L’objectif de ce document est de guider les organismes de conception, de fabrication, de maintenance et d’exploitation pour la pose, la dépose et le remplacement des étiquettes RFID (UHF et HF) et des boutons mémoire CMB (Contact Memory Button), en fonction des environnements définis dans la RTCA DO-160/EUROCAE ED-14 et selon le type de supports, ainsi que les performances de fixation attendues. Ce guide fournira une aide à la spécification des fonctions pose/dépose de l’étiquette et/ou permettra d’approfondir les solutions proposées par les fournisseurs d’étiquettes.
Le terme « étiquette » utilisé dans le présent document couvre à la fois l’ensemble des étiquettes de stockage de données électroniques et parmi celles-ci les étiquettes RFID et les étiquettes CMB. Pour rappel, les étiquettes peuvent aussi contenir des informations lisibles par un autre média que le lecteur RFID ou CMB (par exemple : code à barres - Data Matrix, QR code, etc. et/ou caractères alphanumériques) ainsi que des informations lisibles à l’œil nu sans outillage (lisibles par l'homme).

Ta dokument se uporablja v aeronavtiki za vgrajene dele in opremo, ki je namenjena za vgradnjo ali namestitev na civilno ali vojaško zračno plovilo s certifikatom tipa.
Namen tega dokumenta je podati smernice organizacijam za zasnovo, proizvodnjo in delovanje pri namestitvi, odstranitvi in zamenjavi radiofrekvenčnih identifikacijskih oznak (ultravisokofrekvenčnih in visokofrekvečnih) ter kontaktnih pomnilniških gumbov (CMB) glede na okolje, opredeljeno v RTCA DO-160/EUROCAE ED-14 in glede na vrsto podpore in pričakovane lastnosti pritrditve. Ta smernica vključuje pomoč pri specifikaciji funkcij namestitve/odstranitve oznake in/ali bo ponudila možnost razširitve rešitev, ki jih ponujajo dobavitelji oznak.
Izraz »oznaka« v tem dokumentu zajema vse oznake, ki se uporabljajo za shranjevanje elektronskih podatkov, vključno z radiofrekvenčnimi identifikacijskimi oznakami in oznakami kontaktnega pomnilniškega gumba. Oznake lahko vsebujejo tudi informacije, ki jih znajo odčitati tudi naprave, ki niso bralniki radiofrekvenčnih identifikacijskih oznak ali kontaktnih pomnilniških gumbov (npr. črtne kode – podatkovna matrika, kode QR itd. in/ali alfanumernični znaki), ter informacije, ki jih je mogoče prebrati s prostim očesom brez orodja (v človeku berljivi obliki).
